There is an ongoing attack on Cuba since the 60s... not a military attack, though. The western world and allies, companies do not engage with Cuba; otherwise you get sanctioned. It’s an economic attack plus illegitimate attempts to remove the government in power through social media engineering and engineered demonstration. There was an attempt a few months back, the US sponsor demonstration to oust the ruling government; but it failed.

The US mostly stayed neutral in the war until the ending period. The Russians put up heavy resistance against the Germans during Operation Barbarossa and decimated most of the German forces while taking heavy casualties on their own side. When the Russians discovered that they had lost a lot, they asked the US for help. The US forces came and finished off the remaining Germans and wrote history that they're the ones who defeated the Germans.

It's just like you fighting someone and when you had beaten the person very well and the person is weak, your friend comes and helps you finish off the person and then everyone starts hailing your friend that he's the winner of the fight.

I am don't know much about world politics, but your explanations have not yet shown why there are about 100,000 Russian troops in the Ukrainian border.

All this problem was caused by NATO and US, they sponsor the revolt that oust formal president victor yanakovic a democratic elected president and think Russia will lay low, they are not dealing with Afghanistan or yoguslavia.
