Why couldn't FIFA give Lewandowski the 2020 Balloon D'or instead of that Best Striker of the Year award? Anyway, the 2021 Balloon D'or belongs to Messi and nothing can change it.

That's a local award , pertaining to your own territory. Lewandowski has gone through the process of being the best player in the world through a world wide vote but he failed.
