if you want me to be brutally honest, remember I’m a user like you not a seller , you can only get cheap games or prices you consider fair from an end user , and even at that those end users no too dey here again cos most people you see here na people wey place value on what they have , and or game CD resellers/vendors.. back then when games were selling for 3k sef don pass, I remember even Tlou1 cd and Witcher 3 cd being sold here for 3k then, by people that had no need for it .. now things don cost , players aren’t willing to sell their old CDs until they can afford the new ones, resellers will never sell you any cd for 3k .. forget all these ones wey my boss shopnextdoor dey promise to dash cd and all, na argument dey push baba do promises . The only games you can currently get for those prices are fifa collections , and that’s cos fifa easily get outdated but even at that, you notice people no dey gree sell their fifa 20 and 21 for cheap again, cos less people are getting the fifa 22 cos of price which means more people are HODLING on to their fifa 20 and 21 and more demand for the cheaper options .. for this Naija I have learnt not to blame anyone for price , cos these same consoles wey we dey see for 120 to 180k , na the same console wey be 70k to 80k earlier this year . Blame the country, prices aren’t regulated and the economy isn’t stable for sellers too..

One of the biggest problems of our society today is yahoo boys/internet scammers. Like corruption, the real problem is not the criminal act itself, but the mentality it generates among immature and unintelligent minds. The mentality of everything is supposed to be free. The disdain for education and disrespect for legit hustle, and the honest, hardworking guy. The noise making, the need to be seen that causes them to disturb our peace and quiet.

A part of me feels sorry for the yahoo boy because he is a product of a failed system. However, I cannot empathize with a mentality (a sickness, really) that makes a fraudster believe he is superior to a guy who has actually built a legal business (or hustle) despite this same failed system.

Life can not always be about getting drunk or high, talking trash online Mondays to Fridays. It is important to sober up every now and then and have respect for those who feel sorry for you. We are all brothers, and will, one day, have to come together to right this wrong that has been done to us.

You have a point but believe me things are very expensive now....For instance last month a costumer wanted to buy a console and he won’t buy with a fifa21 disk and I need to sell to get money for next shipment.... someone here wanted to sell the game for 10k each I contacted him and he told me I must buy the 2 copies he had ..... I had no choice cause I was desperate (didn’t wana lose the customer) ...... I bought the 2 for 18k or so.....now the same person came to me for a disk I said 6k and he priced me down to 3500... I wanted to deal but I changed my mind .... Even non-dealers and end users are not willing to sell again cause of how games are scarce and expensive... I used to have Lots of games that come with my imported consoles but I hardly have any again ....... Original v2 controllers now go for 24k in the market,,,I sell mine for far less not because I don’t like big profit but because it’s just a hobby turn hustle ... doesn’t change the fact that that’s the market price ...... If u eventually go into the business line ,, u will understand me more ...... Someone wants to sell slim 500gb hackable for my friend for 170k ,, something I would have sold for 155-160k if I have one... doesn’t mean he’s ripping him ,no.. how he gets his items may b more expensive than mine..... he will not ,however, sell at a loss afterall
