Ogun State

Since you want to break it down like that using dialect. Ogun State is probably more diverse. These main divisions also have subdivisions and a lot of towns:

Egba
Yewa
Ijebu
Remo
Awori

Not dialect, different ethnic group. Well, you can also break down dialect is they are very different.

However in the case of Bayelsa, they are totally 100% different languages. Like the difference between Hausa and Yoruba.

U obviously don't know what you are saying.
Epie and Attisa, the major ethnic group inhabiting Yenegoa, the state capital are not Ijaws.
Epie Towns include Igbogene, Yenezue-gene, Yenezue-Epie, Akenfa, Agudama, Opolo, Kpansia-Epie, Amarata, Azikoro Village Etc.
Ogbia, the ethnic group of Goodluck Jonathan is more related to Kalabari.
The towns of Ogbia are imiringi, otuosega, otuoke, otuabaga, Emegha1 and 2, Amakalakala, etc
Ijaws are mostly Kolokuma-Opokuma, Southern Ijaw, Brass, Sagbama, Ekeremor and maybe Nembe
Note, I have lived in Bayelsa state, I have first hand information.
Though this my information is subject to correction from an Indigent Bayelsan
You are 100% correct!

All are dialects of Ijaw.
Bayelsa state is 873 km² bigger than Imo Nd Anambra state put together.
2006 is 15 years ago.
That's never Bayelsa population figure.
There are no Ekpeye in Bayelsa.
Bayelsa is an Homogenous Ijaw State.

Bayelsa is an Homogenous Ijaw state, they didn't travel everywhere nd count Ijaw. Only Southern Ijaw LGA have 180 towns.
Koluama district 105 Oporoma district 75.
Making 180 in Southern Ijaw.
Is this map wrong on language classification?

I just disproved it.
All those are different dialects of Ijaw.
Why are you lying? How can you call entirely different languages as dialects of Ijaw? Wasn't here on nl about last week that the abual/odual people officially pulled out the IYC citing that they are a different group of people? Your IYC stated clearly in their constitution that any group doesn't need to be indigenously Ijaw before they can join them. This effectively makes IYC a franchise and not a group meant for only indigenously Ijaws.
You must stop lying before the internet is there for all to us and see the fact for what it is.
Only 4 lgas are wholly Ijaws in Bayelsa. The rest they share with other language groups namely the Cross River languages (Ogbia is the largest of them), the edoid, the Igboid and entirely different ones.
If you quote me, endeavour to present a published work from non-Ijaws to back your claims. I'll provide my own proofs from published works for all to see.
Sometimes I see you all calling Obolo people of Andoni as Ijaws. The effontery is sickening.
Obolo people share nothing with Ijaws. There origin has been traced to East of Akwa Ibom state and it reflects in the language. I have proofs to my claims and will post it if you argue my claims. The lies you guys have been feeding others over the years have come to an end.

It should not be so.

Bayelsa is a state in southern part of Nigeria, located in the core of the Niger Delta region.

Bayelsa has a population of 1.7 million according to the 2006 National population census in the 8 LGAS.

In Bayelsa, there are 3 main language groups/people or 4 depending on the classification. There are other minority groups in Bayelsa.

The 3 MAJOR languages are classified under:

1. The ijoids (South Izon/southern Ijaw, Izon etc.)

2. The Edoids (e.g Epie, Attisa, Engenni [Known as the Oguan), Urhobo, Isoko).

3. The Cross-River people (Ogbia, Abureni etc. )

These are the people in Bayelsa and here is their classification and LGAs

Bayelsa remains a tiny state with 8 LGA and have produced the president and vice President, yet is as good as one LGA in Kogi state.
I suggest the state be merged with Rivers since they can't offset their overhead.
Even their son that was president went there and removed clock and calendar in Aso Rock, that make him to forget how time flies and the urgency in lifting his state.
That's all I remember about Bayelsa.

that's no longer possible. Bayelsa from created from mainly River state. Adding Bayelsa to Rivers will complicate issues further.

Op you really need to travel beyond your state.

Cross River State alone has about 37 languages being spoken there.

I'm not even referring to a particular LGA where the men speak differently from the women.

What can get more diverse than that?

You dey argue like pikin. Village association is not the same like ethnic socio-cultural group.

Most Fulanis answer Hausa or Arabic names. Are they Hausa or Arabs?

The koko is Epie is not Ijaw. I am sure of this.

The only reason you guys are dragging Epie is because of Yenagoa. It's the only inter-state road link with Bayelsa.

Again you guys need Yenagoa for una Ijaw Republic Capital.

You guys started with Port Harcourt as the capital of Niger Delta Republic, but no way.
