Hello Folks,

My car (Mitsubishi Outlander 2003 model) is making noise and I found out that the adjuster is shaking and the noise is from it.

Does it mean the adjuster (or tensioner, don’t know the name), is bad or just need adjustment?

If it’s to be replaced, how much does it cost?

Only a physical examination will determine if the tensioner needs to be adjusted or replaced. Whichever case it is, you will need to get it fixed before it wears out the drive belts.

It is bad replace it
