Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu yesterday commissioned the 744-Unit LagosHOMS Housing Scheme, Sangotedo (Phase1) which contains 248 one-bed, 248 two-bed and 248 three-bed Flat(s).

This housing Project is located in Eti Osa East Local Council Development Area (LCDA), the project contains 62 blocks of residences, sited on a 10.024 hectares of land with beautiful landscape.

Other features of the LagosHOMS Sangotedo includes:
- Perimeter Fencing. Car Park spaces of 492 cars within compounds and 406 cars at the general car parks.
- Water Treatment Plant and supply with very large storage capacity
- Proper Sewage System
- Full Street Lighting, covered drains and walkways on both sides
- External electrification provided from National Grid with an injection station of 15MVA and 7 transformers of 500KVA capacity each
- Streetlights, Water Treatment Plant and Sewage system all have an alternative power system in case of power shortage from the National Grid

The Phase 2 of the LagosHOMS Sangotedo project is already ongoing and this will add another 444 Units to the current one that was just commissioned.

The LagosHOMS Sangotedo Phase 1 Housing project is also in line with the THEMES Agenda in Making Lagos a 21st Century Economy (The 4th pillar).

If you live in Lagos, and do move around the axis the Blue rail line is been constructed, you won't be asking this question.

Maybe you don't live in Lagos or you don't live around the axis it will pass through, so I will pardon your ignorance.

The construction of the Blue rail line will be completed 4th quarter of 2022. In fact, few weeks ago, the CBN supported the project with #60B.

If not for Ambode that fooliahly abandon the project, we for done dey use the railway by now in Lagos

Even OBJ was angry such a project was abandoned by Ambode

Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has criticised former Lagos State governor Akinwunmi Ambode for abandoning the Lagos light rail project while he was the governor of the state between 2015 and 2019.

“We borrowed to build a light rail in Lagos, embarked on the project and a succeeding governor abandoned the project for his full term of four years at 65 per cent completion when he should have started paying down on the loan,” Obasanjo said on Friday in Lagos as a keynote speaker at the “Why I am Alive” campaign.

Obasanjo also criticised Ambode of prioritising the construction of Oshodi bus interchange. The terminus was commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari days before Ambode left office even though the project was not completed.

I think Lagos state should build blocks of about 7 storey each of a room self so as to provide affordable housing units for youths and bachelors

This project was kickstarted by Fashola. Was completely abandoned by Ambode. Sanwolu did the finishing touch especially with the external works
