I was saying something similar on a WhatsApp group yesterday that, if one doesn't know how to swim and they attempt trying to save him, the person might put themselves in trouble because if things go south, one might end up going down with him.

He actually told people around that he'll go down with them if they should come nearer...they had to call his father but before the man could get there, the man already jumped in.

Still you can save the next person, by erecting a make shift tent/ go camping at third mainland bridge specifically for saving such people but while you are at it just know the fourth mainland bridge construction is underway....

It depends who was videoing, was the person that talked him out of it videoing? Or a 3rd party?

If it's his friend, why should your first thoughts be to first grab your phone and record

It was Epe bridge , not third mainland bridge.

According to a reliable source, the guy couldn't sleep for over 2 weeks(only GOD knows what happened) , his sister died last month, his mum is down with stroke. The guy is even married with a boy, the guy is just 21 years old. I guess he battled with depression.
