Nigerian police are a reflection of the Nigerian society... I can never like a Nigerian police and that is why I don't feel bad for them each time I read news about them been killed. Unfortunately there are still good ones, but a minute fraction.
Exactly. Same with me.I naturally despise anyone in that uniform.

Foolish comments

Someone is asking for transaction details. Are you a fool? He said its BTC, who you wan trace wallet ID to?

Another person talking about your right and have a lawyer. Didn't you read that it was a robbery? These officers wanted to Frame them and murder them. Right, statement, lawyer and law no matter at all.

You say their family members no show for station. People whose phones were taken away in the night robbery. How will anybidy know.
It all happened within a few hours

Igbo police maltreating yoruba citizens on yoruba land … one day the unitary system will come to an end in Nigeria .. only yoruba will be allowed to police yoruba land … this was their mission when Igbo government suspended regional government in 1966…

So the officer transferred 20M worth of bitcoin without your wallet password or key. He transferred to where? No tx id, no prove, nothing, just one made up stories

Sahara reporters well done

Go read it all over. They were forced to make the transfer..... it wasn't done by the police . As for evidence, it is not a must that it should be thrown to you now.

Well bosses..if truly you were harrassed and robbed of money you made the right way and by that I mean not by fraud o..then you're well within your right as a person to exert your own justice on those criminals in uniform..by whatever means you deem fit ..you don't let such things go bruv..until when these people begin to suffer grave consequences for their wrong actions they won't stop being evil.

Hope you ain't tryna frame up that Cordelia Nwanue.
Well, this could still be true, all the same.
But I wonder why people are still afraid of death at such a time like this especially in naija!

Man die once abeg,if they are beating you for nothing, guy get screw driver.

4kN nation full of suffering and smiling zmbs!!!
When people like Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho were talking, that's were you see losers, suffering and smiling losers condemning them!!!
For decades,we have been living in darkness despite paying exorbitant NEPA bills and life goes on. Almost every house in Lagos state have generating sets burning and running everyday!!! Filling stations in neighborhoods nolonger depends on motorists to run their business but on households who buy fuels to power their generators yet when Kanu and Sunday Igboho came on, nobody supported them.
Freaking country and her hopeless loser citizens!!!!

Legally earned monies have trails... for you to have earned that sum of funds legally, along the ladder, you must have met friends, colleagues, business associates, police officers, army, business persons, family that would stand for you legit..

Fraud monies have no attachments or trails,it just hits you.. friends and colleagues cant come to the station because they may be ropped in.

The Policemen didn't extort, they robbed the boys. Report the Policemen for armed robbery and kidnapping. If I were their lawyer, I won't even go the Human rights route. I will put them in trouble that even the IG can't save them from.

Let the boys report the Policemen, the Sectional Head at Alagbon, the CP FCID Alagbon, the AIG FCID Alagbon to the Police Service Commission and Ministry of Police affairs. Write a petition to the National assembly too. State it pointedly that the Policemen robbed you. If they don't return your money with plenty abeg you within 48 hours call me a bastard.

This is eye-opening and a good reminder to always store your bitcoin in a cold wallet. Hopefully they are able to trace the wallet it was sent to but it may be a little too late.

When he is one of the slave statues in the nation.
They will even try to turn it on the victim's head.

Well.. free lancers working for foreigners have trails of payments and working up N22m sitting balance as a free lancer, you are very well grounded affiliated with various organizations and must have trusted mentors who can step up. currency exchange would have had other exchangers flood the station with calls even from Abuja and police headquarters.. legit monies have trails. Fraud has made N22m look like change, earning it legally is a lifetime for majority.

Shove this your poverty mentality somewhere and stop talking nonsense.

God bless u real good.

Legally acquired money always have a strong foundation n different attachments with enough connection.

How can u say u have 22 million n d only people u know are youngies like u around 20 years?

U have 22 million n no standing business?

U have 22 million n no id card of any organisations or strong working team?

I have said it various times that the police know who they mess with, do u realise some big men don't even have 22 million in their account but police dare not mess with them but fraud money always look obvious n makes d owner stranded even with d huge fund

From the article, a paragraph states "human rights lawyer xyz stated..." and this is followed by "my clients are xyz..."

That shows they have retained a lawyer

Eventually the system win and you lose.

All we’re witnessing are results of untold hardship and poverty in the land.

These police men are actually acting their name: NIGERIA POLICE FORCE. Collecting people's properties by force but the real criminals are out there and you can't do a thing about it.

Nigeria police is the greatest problem Nigeria has as a country because they are deep rooted in a every facet of crime.

They day Nigeria police changes and start doing things alright without any form of corrup tendencies is the day Nigeria is reborn to be a superpower in world politics, economy, etc
