This is really a serious health hazard and it's very sad. I am sure in the process of pounding that mortar, some of that dirty awful smelling water might have gotten into what ever she was pounding. This is ONE NIGERIA where humans live below the level of animals and some people believe that's okay! Shame and death to all those who STILL believe that the damned country should continue in the trajectory that it's on now. Break up NIGERIA before it KILLS you!

These are housemaids and I bet a woman asked them to cook in such condition. Most abusers of housemaids in Nigeria are women!

Dirty hyped slum. My Benin City any time any day over the filthy Lagos. If I must live in another city outside Benin City, Abuja, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Uyo, Kaduna, Akure, Kanu, Awka or Asaba, in that order, is absolutely fine for me; not the stinky Lagos.

Are parts of Benin city not flooded each time it rains?
What is the difference between six and half a dozen

Wow..... just wow....

Africa leaders travel abroad and they see how things are done in those countries but will NEVER replicate it in their beloved countries.

It is sickening seeing things like this,, it shows how bad things are

What of us African people who don’t travel abroad, don’t we see the abroad on tv?
Why do we have very low expectations of the few people who we allow to temporarily serve us from among ourselves

Never you compare Lagos to Benin City. Even Benin City before Oshiomole wasn't as filthy as your modern Lagos. We may not have skyscrapers but our living homes are not submerged whenever it rains. Or name the part of Benin that is flooded. Lagos is a slum.
