Anyway what I did in my case was to send an email to Whatsapp which they replied that the number cannot be unbanned due to too many reports against it. I kept sending them emails and kept on getting the same reply but only to try the number one day and saw that it has been unbanned. My joy knew no bond that day. It took months

People don report the hell out of that particular number.. when you too will just enter someone dm and be shouting I'm bla bla bla.. add my contact.. na blocking and report i dey always give those kind of people

Oh puhlease follow the instructions on ur screen shot and contact them with the number. But if u can, wait for 2 months as the guy above me just said. I don’t know why he said 2 months tho, maybe WhatsApp only remembers things for two months or by then dem don catch u for scamming.

Most times, it's done with numbers used in scamming people.
