This evening I was coming back from church when I passed by three young men. They look like they are in their early twenties.

They were making dirty jokes and laughing. When I passed, one of them said: "ah virgin dey pass o make una no talk nonsense too much" I heard them but I ignored them. We were the only ones on the road.

The other guy said: "abeg, pussy wey wide pass gutter." And they started laughing like mad hyenas. I refused to acknowledge their existence and they laughed louder, echoing the stupid statement. I was a bit embarrassed but kept a straight face.

It's disgusting that young men like that think it's okay and funny to make crude jokes about a random girl on the street. What made them think such behaviour is okay

I'm sure those are the kind of guys that will come here and chant "Nigerian girls are useless all of them."

Male children in Nigeria really need to be trained well. They should be taught to behave properly, like civilised people around women not morally decayed agberos.

You addressed your own friend as fat, yet you made no connection to your friends weight and why the boys were whistling at both of you. You seem to be very hypocrital and unfriendly, my bet is that you even seek out these kind of situations just to confirm your bias about men, but what is actually real is that you're more untrustworthy than the whistling boys who only whistled in admiration, unlike you who is quick and happy to fat shame your own friend.
