Ghana To Jail Pastors, Prophets Who Communicate Negative Prophecies To The Public (Read Statement)

The Ghanaian government has stated that the it will prosecute pastors and prophets who communicate prophecies that cause tension among members of the public in Ghana, IgbereTV reports.

Ghanaian pastors and other religious leaders are permitted to predict the future, but such predictions must be positive. Those found guilty could be jailed for up to five years.

Great decision. Just like football teams go on relegation based on results, your prediction fails you go to jail. Enough of the nonsense.

That means all our pastors and prophets would be jailed na.
But what exactly do some of this prophets really gain from false prophesies that ignite fear?
I hardly read or hear good prophesies concerning Africa from these pastors and prophets..can someone really tell me why we hardly have good prophesies from our pastors and prophets

If one leader should pronounce this kind of law in Nigeria some people will say he wants to Islamise the country. Most especially if he is Muslim.

We need it here in Nigeria. It reminds me of one CAC pastor that said he saw many people dying in the month of December and that all his church members should buy small quantity of that white material they use in wrapping dead bodies for burial and each one of them should bring it for 3 days and attach 500 naira each day if they dont want to lose any member of their family. I laughed when my mum told me, i told her that the 1500 for the 3days is what your pastor needs and he knows if he doesnt create fear in you people, you wont bring the money. Na strategy
