vanbonattel:My friend, there is much to Oyo state than you know. Beside the fact that it is a renown citadel of learning where best of institutions are based, dont you know that ibadan is not big for nothing. We have enough land for agriculture and our success in cocoa farming justified our potentials. When you have both education with Agriculture, such place will always be economically productive and a center of attraction. 7 Likes 1 Share |

vanbonattel: Who is this uncouth child of anger and depression? Who born your ignorant type? Lagos, my homeland and South West do not need oil to prosper. We are strategically located and positioned. When your father was in village, in Igboland the Yoruba generated revenue to keep him and your biafrans alive. Why are you blaming the Yorubas for your father’s failure to raise you well. That’s why we don’t care anymore, if you split the country we are good and if you continue like this, we are good. You and your ancestors historically till date seek asylum in our land. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

vanbonattel: Are you aware that we have oil Ondo, Ogun, and Lagos States? Are you also aware of the large deposit of bitumen and gold in the South West? 2ndly, oil is no longer the main thing. Over reliance on oil is the bane of our development. Yorubas would not even need oil money to keep running. 4 Likes |

christistruth01:You must be confused? how did Buhari AG Malami and his Cabals efforts to Grab indigenous Lands for their Livestock? Section 6(2) of The Lands Use Act that you referred to says: No single customary right of occupancy shall be granted in respect of an area of land in excess of 500 hectares if granted for agricultural purposes, or 5,000 hectares if granted for grazing purposes, except with the consent of the Governor. All the Federal Government was reiterating is that Under the Land Act, herders are entitled to Land for their agricultural purposes, & the naive ones shouting that it is our land, are not aware of the demands of the laws of The Federal Republic of Nigeria. 1 Like 1 Share |

Imagine what Niger Delta would be if the people (Niger Deltans) who also control NDDC used the money Judiciously 3 Trillion Naira spent and your region still looks like any part of Nigeria, nothing distinct to show, your people pay bribes upfront to access funding for critical health care, your leaders share money meant for life-changing projects and their children are being groomed to that style of funds utilization (looting) vanbonattel: |

israelmao: Can we also use the same logic to say that it was a divine arrangement by God to use IBB to put Obasanjo in power in 1999 so as to give Yorubas a chance? Let me tell you this. If the SS had had an opportunity to chose whom among the six SS governors of those days to represent them in Abuja as VP and finally president, Donald Duke would have been the unanimous choice. 3 Likes 1 Share |

kinibigdeal:See ignoramus If not for the useless Nigerian tag on igbos, today the Igbo's would be battling Japan , Korea n China for industrialisation n technological power...... The Igbos are the only tribe in Nigeria today that manufactures n produces..... The Igbo land is the richest in terms of mineral deposits..... The Igbo land is rich in oil deposits but the useless Nigerian state, keeps playing politics with the igbo oil wells......this will be corrected when Biafra comes.... IMO n anambra gas deposits combined is largest in Africa...... As for your assertion that igbo land is land locked , it's clear you're so ignorant....its really amazing how ppl still think been landlocked in this 21st century is a problem..... |
