There are several free platforms and tools that you can use to horn your digital skills to remain relevant in the job, freelance or entrepreneurship market.

To answer you directly, you can try Google Digital Skills for Africa, you will learn all the fundamentals you need to get started in digital marketing (I did mine in 2018, got a beautiful certificate and skills that have been of help). I will advise everyone to take this course.

The next place you can look at is Cousera. They have rich line up of courses from Early Years Teaching, Management, on demand Digital Skills to Machine Learning. You can skim their courses for free or pay to have a Verified Certificate[b](I will come back to this).[/b]

On cousera.org you can do a stand alone course or do an entire collection of related courses to earn a Professional Certificate or Specialization. Their course content are rich, easy to follow/complete and you will learn a lot.

Can I earn a Verified Certificate for free? The answer is yes. Coursera has Financial Aid for those who cannot afford to pay for the certificate.

I am willing to help the at least 10 people this January 2022 to apply for financial aid on this site to get started. So whether you're an active job seeker, transitioning to a new field or an entrepreneur this is for you.
