Dennis should be careful. International football is important.
Another player could start shining a few months from now and it will make us forget about him.
We have many young players scattered in Europe waiting for a chance to shine in the top 5 leagues.
playing at the world cup will boost his reputation to no limits.
This is what made Ahmed Musa earn his place in Nigeria and it is even helping his club career.
If dennis plays well in the nations cup, then he can go to the world cup and play well and this will boost his career
and cement his international career.
Anyone can go and take his place at anytime. Football is unpredictable and fickle.
What if peter olaynka, collins yira sor, akinkunmi amoo etc move to a top 5 league next season and
start doing something spectacular or peter olayinka takes the nations cup by storm and moves
to a better league.
Nigeria has too many good players for him to be doing shakara.
The future will surprise him

Which of Ahmed Musa club career is it helping? So to you Musa continuous callup is justifiable.

Listen dude, talent doesn't hide,if this is what will benefit his career at the moment, then so be it, you will tell me how deciding to play for Ajax instead of going to the afcon with Cameroon has destroyed Obama's career.

If he keeps his premier league form, no one, and I repeat, no one will be able to displace him from the super eagles squad. This is someone that is second only to Salah as the best player in the EPL.

You are too sentimental.

Loyalty does not win you a world cup or a champions league. Newcastle have the most loyal fanbase in EPL, where are they on the table?

Going with the best players is what wins you anything, not loyalty.

Is it fanbase that plays football? And who told you Dennis is the best? If Mikel can be made to write a letter of apology to the NFF for a seeming disloyalty to the NT (at a time when our midfield was so thin), who is Dennis?. Nigeria has never lacked strikers you know. I think his swift replacement goes to show that others will always do the job.
And to correct you, best players don't always win but a good team does. Who are the best players in Egypt when they held the AFCON trophy in captivity for 6 years?. Who are the best players in the Algerian team?

Bar injury, Dennis would have started every game alongside Chukwueze. He would probably even won Best Player of Afcon. He would sold himself more. And left Watford next season. But him nor get sense.

I feel am I nor go lie. E pain me. But na him lose. On a good day (for the SE) Onyekuru is a beast.

What beastly thing has he done on his good day with the SE? Imean Onyekuru

Lol. Of course since other players will stop scoring and fail to secure EPL move. Well that's even if his rich vein of form continues. I wish him well.

Those of you barking like a dog since yesterday, I hope you all have enough data to see this?

Dennis wanted to come, but his club threatened to take action against him. Now, why was the club able to beat their chest to make such threat? Simply because, his invitation came late.
So why did his invitation come later than Ekong's? Because he was never in the initial 37man list made by that bingo from Germany.

We don't need him,we have Ahmed Musa,he scored 4 goals at the world cup

Watch eguavoen short interview abt Dennis not coming to afcon...ire o cool
I have watched the interview but I have some questions

1. Why was his name not on the original list? Who drew that list
2. How was Watford able to have so much power to stop Dennis alone
3. What did Eguavoen mean by "what do we do if a player doesn't want to come"?
4. Why was he mentioning the enthusiasm and happiness of Onyekuru and Tyrone immediately they got the call up

These are questions begging for answers. Let me just keep quiet.

Our preparation is late and Ranieri used that as a loop hole to stop Dennis. That is just it. Based on courtesy, he should have released Dennis and not use FIFA time line as an excuse. That is so lame.

We should not forget how Conte treated Mikel after he resisted his demands to keep him away from the Olympics. That was the end of Mikel's career at Chelsea.

If Ranieri insists Dennis is not going, it is okay we let him go.

Dennis has decided to stay back and avoid trouble with his employers. So Eguavoen tried convincing him to come but he refused. So there was nothing he could do to make Dennis come.

As for Onyekuru and Ebuehi, he is talking about the ease to get them to play for the team. He actually wants players that are happy and eager to play for the team. Not a case like Dennis and Watford where it was a battle.

Dennis is self made her did not use or needed the SE to further his career.

If l was Dennis I would ask myself by some questions, will going to the AFCON boost his career ❓Then when he comes back will he have the same upward trajectory ( pray he doesn't get injured)

Nonetheless, the NFF have not been honourable.

Representing the National team is about Honour. If your career is more important than honouring a call to represent your country, please stay in your club and let those that are passionate and eager to represent the country play.

He is on a good run of form for a relegation battling club.
If he wasn't important most members of this honourable thread won't include him in their starting line-up for the eagles.
And our people won't be unhappy on is exclusion from the tournament.

Lol..... una go miss Dennis? Seriously? Like he has been balling for Super Eagles since beginning of the Year. Until you kick ball for Super Eagles, your Club form doesn't matter.

Una want Shehu out.... he's out. Una want Ebuehi in..... he finally made the List. What next?! Oh! Kelvin.... LMAO. Same Kelvin that Rohr didn't trust to start Matches?

Kingsley Michael deserves to be on the List, no uproar over him missing on the List, perhaps because he's not Fans' favourite yet?!

Dessers?.... Same Guy our Oyinbo Coach dey snub, na em come become hybrid of Messi and CR7?!

Una sha must wail. Austin is already being called name. Is it because he's not white? We'll rather trust 1 Rohr over 100,000 Siasia or Amuneke.

E be things.

Bros na true talk be this o
Na Kingsley Micheal suppose dey there.
The guy na baller.

MY AFCON ATTACK

Our attack should be Samuel Chukwueze, Chidera Ejuke in the wings
playing just behind Sadiq Umar as our top striker.
This way, we have 3 dribblers in our midfield and attack.
We can even play with 3 defensive midfielders with these kind of players in our attack.
Also, Nwakali can be tried in midfield to see how good he can be.
I mean Nwakali with 2 defensive midfielders.
Iwobi needs help, competition and rest in that midfield role of his.
He is overworked playing for Nigeria.
I just hope Nwakali will take his chance.
If he does not play well, then he has himself to blame
If he plays well, then it will help his career

Loyalty is crap. No matter how loyal you are to a team, if you are a crap player nobody rates you. Do you think companies hire people on how loyal they are? If you own a business will you employ the people that are most loyal to you (e.g your family members)? If you do that, the business crashes. That's one of the reasons Nigeria is a hot mess today. Nigeria is a clear example of the consequences of people choosing loyalty over performance.

I have always say this the reason why the dude is where he is clubwise is because of he is not ambitious and very unserious with his career

Talent is not enough, what effort does he put to better his career daily, weekly and monthly
Just like a brilliant student who does not do extra study when he get to leave the class every day and even during exams he will remain average or even below average....

Many canvassing for him here dont know this, wish they can pass a message to him... to be hungry and work train extra to build his potential and abilities

This is ironical. If you don't have a stable career, you won't have the opportunity to honor calls in the future because you won't get calls. This is short-term vs. long-term thinking.
