Great analysis.

For a southerner to succeed President Buhari, Yoruba must support a candidate from Igbo land.

We did not place 2 Yoruba presidential candidates - Olusegun Obasanjo and Olu Falae, on the tickets of the two largest political parties for nothing in 1999.

Zoning between north and south was at play then.
which kain mumu analyst be this onecheesy
You and willydave re naive the records re there.
Only Buhari defeated a southerner in election

Azikiwe defeated a northerner
Abiola defeated a northerner
Obj defeated a northerNer
Gej defeated a Northerner

What wins election in Nigeria is political structure, not the stupid ethno-religious trash you re all spilling.

PDP has consistently lost in core north of North east and North west region
In 2003,2011,2015,2019.

But armchair analyst like willydave and Amah70 think it will change overnight without dislodging Apc first in Core north.cheesy

Whoever wins APC primary ticket will take over the keys of aso rock from buhari

Power is going south, the HAUSA’s want to exhaust the money and tell him the truth when money don go round. I love the northern political intelligence.
They will encourage him and give him hope and after they have all gotten their share of his money,
Then a southerner with a HAUSA Vice President will surface and Tinubu will break out of APC and his brothers will start talking about oduduwa party

The present 36 states political structure of Nigeria, with a whooping number of 19 states and Abuja in the once one Northern region, overides your belief that a southern presidential candidate can win Nigeria's presidential election if northern political class supports a northern presidential candidate.

Baba tinubu should appreciate his life and go and sit down. He doesn't have the energy. intelligence or humanity to run a country that's at its precipice! He has no antecedent in Lagos other than the wanton looting and promotion of the touts to run Lagos. The last thing Nigerian collapsing nation need is a gross confirmed looter.
Till date the eko Atlantic city is not finished and that's shows how incompetent and thievery these Lagos APC are.
I think if tinubu stands for APC then a southern man from PDP will win.
The north knows tinubu more then us, and they would have closed his chapter with mko if he didn't run as usual. Stand down for Osinbajo!

How did Tinubu transform Lagos? Lagos was a glorified slum and area boys haven during his tenure as governor. The transformation witnessed in Lagos happened during Fashola and Ambode's tenures. The only thing Tinubu did in Lagos was to promote thuggery and turn Lagos into the personal ATM of him and his family.

You right, it all started from Fashola, Tinubu was an idiot

Let power return to the North grin
But you cannot go to your village in the North without being kidnapped, bandits(terrorists) waiting for you, boko haram is your friend.
North has no problem because it is so obsessed with power that all other pressing needs are immaterial.

Lagos is a slum but all your lineage want to die there. You have abandoned all things in your life including your hometowns and regions for this slum that belongs to Yoruba and you still have no shame to keep your mouth shut.

All the governors your tribe has produced combined can't do what Tinubu alone has done to make Lagos sanctuary for fleeing Igbos.
Asgard73:

Tinubu can’t transform Nigeria

And what has he transformed in Lagos in the past 25 years of being governor and godfather.

With all the money and debt.. any state can be cleaned ..

Kwankwaso transformed Kano
Akpabio transformed Akwaibom
Peter transformed Anambra

All in 8 years

25 years is not here .. Lagos until recent has been the capital of Nigeria.. don’t you understand ?

You guys keep hyping ignorant

Haba!

Pity yourself, you know his name is killing you on the inside. If Tinubu is not intelligent, your entire tribe won't be having sleepless nights over him as evident in the way you flood any thread with his name. Leave Asiwaju alone, envy is what is weighing you down.

We shouldn't even be thinking about a different candidate. Who are Igbos to make Yoruba do something? They have never voted for Yoruba and that won't start with Tinubu. Yoruba must stand now and ignore Igbos, this is our last chance in Nigeria.
Reality3080:
The question any sane person should ask igbos is this

Will antagonizing tinubu make u President?
What if yorubas present another joker?
The same energy u put in criticising tinubu,if u put it in campaigning for an igbo president by now people will b taking u serious.

Imagine replacing any igbo aspirants by d number of times u people mention tinubu in a day
Re: 2023 Presidency: Tinubu Working On Declaration Date –DG Campaign Council by DCatt: 5:55am On Jan 03, 2022
What do they say about old habit? That's how Igbos always have played their cards, nothing has changed. When I say the power the north has today is with the help of Igbos, thank God, they are the ones feeling the most heat from it.
Reality3080:
u igbos are shouting power returns to d north cos u know for sure tgat if it comes to d south u have no chance of getting it.

What if d northerners insist power returns to d south, what will b igbos fate?
Have u forgotten that no region has ruled concurrently for 16 years since 1999?

Northerners know if they hold on to power for 16 years they will play second fiddle for 16 years n they can't risk it.

In case u want to argue blindly cos that's your hobby, let me break it down for u

Since 1999

Obj south n atiku north
Yaradua north n Jonathan south
Jonathan south n sambo north
Buhari north n osinbajo south

I believe u see d trend n precedents

U igbos are playing d wrong card again

Don't forget Lagos was once the capital of Nigeria before it was mov d to Abuja. Before then, who even know Abuja. But now, Abuja is highly pupolated and full of all kind of people. If my state, Rivers become the capital of Nigeria, everywhere for .y state go stew. That's how it's.
Before I forget, Tinubu is a thief and should Goan enjoy his loot in peace.
Re: 2023 Presidency: Tinubu Working On Declaration Date –DG Campaign Council by DCatt: 6:19am On Jan 03, 2022
The problem is Igbos can't leave Nigeria. You had the opportunity to get some form of autonomy that can push you to a full country in 2021 but didn't grab it. Everyone knows that Igbos can't, won't and don't want to leave Nigeria except something happens and they have no other option.
DMerciful:
Because over 50% of the Yorubas are Muslim and the North tends to vote along religious lines(north is against northern Christian being president), they'd support Yorubas. But again,
the North knows that if Igbos leave, there's no Nigeria so they're threading carefully.

The North are afraid of the Igbos than any other nationality and rightfully so. The North has got it coming!
