Why can't Nigeria and Nigerians proffer a solution that will not be a harm to both nature and society? Must we be destructive in everything we do?
Re: El-Rufai: We Should Carpet-Bomb The Forests And Replant The Trees After by olisaEze(m): 8:32am On Jan 04, 2022
Well at least he has proffered a solution within his mental reach. But has El’rufai considered the collateral damage? What if there are hostages present at the time of the 'carpet bombing' will they also be killed by their government just for being at the wrong place at the wrong time?? Killing a mosquito no matter how annoying with a double barreled gun will always be counterproductive. undecided

After promising to curtail insecurity in a number of months, we are at the point of insufficient boots. This is story for another day.

Will the carpet bombing extend to neighbouring countries? After bombing, and they come back, what next?
if you keep judging politicians by promises, you'll end up wailing continuously for years. learn to face the reality otherwise you'll be much bitter in the future if someone like shehu sani becomes governor. the reality on ground is that we don't have enough man power..

You are the dumbo here. Have you been to the forest in the Brinin Gwari and Zamfara axis? If you have, you won't be saying nonsense. See, fvck the wildlife; do they worth more than the human lives been wasted on a daily? , so just because of one stupid wildlife we will not fight insecurity right? It's like you have the same mentality with buhari because I'm sure that is what stopping him. Besides, the wildlife can be imported, not a big deal.

You people will just sit in your houses and be insulting governors on matters they know better than you.

People like you don’t know that without plants, there won’t be humans. The weather crisis you will deal with in that desert north of yours after that carpet bombing, will reset your brain in 3months.

Gif bless El Rufai. Infact, El Rufai for president come 2023. This is what I have been saying, the FG should order the airforce to carpet bomb places where terrorists are operating and send in the army to do a mop up of the remnants of these vermins.

In the SE, carpet bombings of Ipob/ESN camps will destroy most of those cannibals and send them to God for judgement.

From today, El Rufai for president. Buhari is too soft

If only you know the forest is not small as you think. The best option is El Rufai's option.

You can't know more than a sitting Governor, security situation in his domain

So this is rubbish[s][/s]
What a myopic point of view. Security is not his domain, mon ami, politics is.
You think you can even begin to fathom the amount of collateral damage carpet bombing the forests will cause in terms of human casualties because you can't afford to evacuate the innocent villages in and around the forests as this would also alert the terrorists if your plans ?

If El Rufai and his family were among the collateral damage, will he approve of this? Besides, Nigeria does not have that kind of bomb to bomb areas bigger than the size of UK. Neither do we have the technology to deliver such bombs even if we have it. Perhaps y'all are overestimating the capacity of a military whose personnel buy their own uniform.

Yes.
Equip the military, especially the special forces with sophisticated weapons and updated training in antiterrorism tactics. This shouldn't take more than 3 to 6months. Then send them into forests to flush out the terrorists.
The terrorists will simply disguise as civilians and come back to the town to stay. After the exercise in the forest, they will go back. But if the forest ( their abode) is destroyed it will not be easy for them to stage a coordinated attacks for now. Before they begin to regroup to take over the forest when it grows, the locals would have occupied their lands back.
Remember we have allowed these people freedom into our forests for so long.

You can't just wake up to bomb the whole forest without proper plans and stratagem..

The short man doesn't have a working b/rain.bomb the whole forest because of ordinary bandits that can be taking care of .what about the trees, the animals that live there. He said we can plant the trees back and what makes him think that the bandits cannot recruit fresh peopl to start up another gang.you see short man sense.

If we fail to tackle the root of the problem. It will keep coming back to us.

We can invade Niger Republic, Cameroon and Benin to curtail banditry; by the way USA did it and nothing happened.

The Americans were working in unfamiliar territory. Sambisa and the other hiding places are in NIGERIA. The military should be familiar with our topography.

This is a Misconception and a criminal one. Bombing Forests discriminately by GOVERNMENTS is Brutal, Savagery, Catastrophic and Genocidal. It will reveal a Plot of ELRUFAI, BUHARI, BURAITAI AND THE SULTAN TO BOMBARD KADUNA SOUTH TO ROOT OUT THE KAJES, KOIS AND THE KOROS AND USE RIFA-RUGA ISLAMISATION FULANISATION AND ANARCHY POLICY TO WIPE OUT THE FOREST RESERVES OF ALL STATES OTHER THAN THOSE IN THE NW. THE SUGGESTION IS IRRESPONSIBLE.
