The state (under millitary government) collected people's land and demolish their houses in order to build a National Hospital. This is actually legal under the Land use act (Government can take people's land for public use).

But instead of building the National Hospital, they sold the land to themselves, so the people whose land were collected went to court.

The case started around 1980, and supreme court delivered judgement in 2012. All courts actually delivered judgement against the state.

The Judgement creditors eventually decided to implement the court judgement last year.

Assuming the state built the National Hospital the land was collected for, all this issue wouldn't have come up. But as per the usual corruption with Nigeria, they sold/shared everything, and Na there issue take start.

please stop this crass mentality of not been matured enough, no Federal Nation in the world operates just a National Police like we do they do have state police who has their own jurisdiction, crimes they police or prosecute, type of weapons used, with Federal Police having theirs too, a state governor using a state police to intimidate an opponent.. It's the job of the federal police to step in and make sure the power is not abused by any Governors, so you guys should please safe us the talk about maturity, when will we be? 200 years after independence?
