Odion igalo is not a professional footballer, after signing a contract that spell out that you will not honour international matches, then why come out of retirement and block other players slot.

With the level of preparation and changes in the squad, he may be right.
it doesn't mean bro... Remember RIO 2016. The guy went to stadium straight from the airport and still won their first match. We ended up coming home with the bronze.

My bet is on Ivory Coast. But I will confirm this after the group stage.

Collins has sat on the bench for the last three games for his club in Germany’s second division. I’m sure that if It was Rohr going to AFCON, he would be the first name on our starting lineup. Mediocrity.

He is still a regular ,he has started almost all their games apart from the last 3 games ,he deserved to go to afcon but not to start games .

Remember that he had retired from international football prior to signing that contract. The blame goes to Rohr for recalling him and assuming that, we had a striker issue instead of fixing his midfield

I didn’t even know I was being insulted self ,till I saw people quoting him

Lone citizen Dey para sha ,but all is well .

Sorry bro I don’t want to convey my mind yet because it seem really odd from that moniker… (I can’t believe it) there’s one thing to call people the F word or personal insults, but to involve someone child, let alone dead child is just horrible. One of the worse insults that I have seen on this website.. #Istandwithandrew.. #Childrenandparentalinsultsareunacceptable

On paper, Senegal has the most complete team but they’re infamous for choking similar to the Ivory Coast team

Did you sign the contract with him or you have your own copy of the contract ? Are uou100% sure the clause was really in the contract ? why didn't his club say anything after ighalo played for Nigeria.

Yeah I agree. Fancy Morocco or Cameroon (home advantage) to reach the finals.

As for Nigeria I've watched too many AFCON tournaments to say with authority that the SE don't have a hope in hell. Preparations might be rubbish but when it comes to competition proper we know how to build momentum. A medal of any color will be a decent achievement.

One or both of Algeria and Senegal will not reach that finals. This I can tell you, free of charge.

AFCON no be by who get best team in paper. Even Euros no dey follow that pattern, how much more AFCON

Would have agreed with you ordinarily but I think they lack character. Losing out to Cameroon for the WC qualifiers really diminished them in my eye.

That’s how we all fancy Egypt home advantage to reach the finals at the last afcon till South Africa shocked them at their home soil grin

Cameroon like Nigeria are tournament teams. They were far from being the best in 2017, even suffered massive player withdrawals yet they went and won the whole thing. Playing at home will just give them extra ginger.

John Ogu said in 2019 on Elegbete TV that Ighalo was his close friend and the retirement saga was a bluff, that Odion just wanted to rest and ease out his World Cup mistakes and the backlash that came after, that he would come back after a year or two when the coast was clear.

Senegal will win it.

You can’t choke forever, and Senegal has been choking for decades. One day it must end. Except na juju.

They have the quality all-round to comfortably beat any African team.

Both are overhyped teams living on past glory. Egypt is feeble, you don’t even need to take Salah out before defeating them soundly again.

Ejuke will be Eguavoen’s joker in the tournament.

If we can secure defensive stability, we will go far. Our attack is a beauty to behold.

I see us playing possessive football rather than the bus parking Rohr almost made our trademark.

But wait o, the German 2 has been on break since before Christmas, camp opened on the 29th. Paderborn has resumed training on the 3rd, Jamilu Collins is not on the eagles neither is he training with the club side. Mehn that guy needs to be dropped abeg even the coach couldn't say why it is he is not in camp yet.
