It will shock us all of he's the most creative SE player after 3group games. I recall he being written off last Afcon but he and Ighalo braced up and bossed things.

Best of Luck to these eagles.

GK headache for Egypt. I'm suspecting Uzoho starting. Setpieces and defence organization is what may trump Maduka.

I do hope he have a great Tourney to at least get a very good team in Ligue 1 or EPL. Hin club mata don taya me.

Because of European influence and the adoption of structural football team discipline and cohesion. The days of picking RAW TALENT from the AFCON seems to be a waning component in recent times.

Add to that the larger percentage of players are already playing in Europe.

The key attributes clubs are looking for is consistent outstanding performance not one offs and flash in the pan players.

Leicester got beat by Division 2 Newport county the third tier of English football in January 2019 in the FA cup. None of those players got any offers from the EPL however one did go to Bristol city.

Unless you do something stupendously outstanding in this AFCON clubs will still look at your club form before making a decision unfortunately.

Don't count your chicken before they are hatched. Our friendly brother Nation Ghana should not be dismissed so easily.

By all means support your nation but it's not wisdom to denigrate another nation with emotive negative bias not objectivity.

Look at Ghana midfielder, all playing at high levels.

Ayew Andre ( no introduction needed)
Thomas Partey - Arsenal
Iddrisu Baba - Mallorca
Mubarak Wakaso (Shenzhen)
Mohammed Kudus - Ajax
Kamaldeen Sulemana - Rennes

These are Ghana's midfielders, l haven't put any one playing in leagues below the top 7 in Europe, apart from Wakaso who left La Liga, for Chinese ££$$.

Now let's look at our midfielders, would you say we have players in our midfielde that are COMPREHENSIVELY better than Ghana, l would not even suggesi it.

A friend should always underestimate your virtues and an enemy overestimate your faults“ — Mario Puzo

Onyeka - Brentford
Aribo - Rangers
Ndidi - Leicester
Ejuke - CSKA
Nwakali - SD Huesca - Segunda Division
Alex Iwobi - Everton.

If we adopt this your condescending dismissive attitude we will beaten by Sudan.

But his opinion does not accord with the slant you gave it as he never said Nigeria has a better midfield than Ghana. He merely put that as a stand alone point without referring to Nigeria. Why recast it in another mould?

Before the day is over, I just want to say Thunder from Sango and Amadioha should fire that oponu shameless agbaya Ighalo

If he had just respected his old self and rejected the invitation, stayed retired, we would have had space to invite a proper striker. He could have even told us since that he would not be able to make it, yet, the best he could do was throw a silly tantrum at his club when they wouldn't release him. Shebi they could have replaced him since that time when we replaced Dennis, Osimhen and Balogun?

Thunder will also fire Gernot Rohr, because if that German vulcanizer had added Dessers name to the 40-man list, we would have had a ready replacement a long time ago.

But most of all, Thunder will Specifically Fire Odion Jude Ighalo for wasting space.

I agree with you! However, Iwobi has been a phenomenon in training. Aribo is excellent too. We gat this if Austin does the right thing!

I am seriously thinking about the coaching stuff but my present job is taking a lot of my time.

Actually, In 2013, as a sports master and teacher, I coached my then secondary school to win the inaugural edition of the Oyo State female soccer championship.

Mujtahida:

Excellent tactical analysis. You should be going for your uefa pro license.
On a serious note though I don't have anything against Iwobi. He's even one player I have strong bias for. But looking at their form at least at club levels, I'd take Aribo over Iwobi as a starter.
Rohr was just a confused man who got all the players tangled up in his chaotic tactics. So let's see how the players will requit themselves if Eguavoen gets it right tactically because you have just like many others properly set out the right tactical approach we should adopt.

But how come guys here can properly set up this team but Rohr couldn't pin down a fruitful working tactics for the team over a period of 5 years. Rohr na wa!

NFA just said they won't report the terrorist club to FIFA. That taking that line isn't good for club and player.. What a weak organisation setting bad precedence. Now more clubs will have balls next time to hold Nigerian players ransome/hostage.

Weaklings.

I understand they're trying to protect the player's interest, but sometimes eehnn, you need to be hash ooh so that these people won't try it again. They will think twice before stepping on your toe. Now we just made it easy for them (due to incompetence) to flex small yansh wey come dey shake.

You can cap too much ,me and you know you don’t rate some certain leagues but suddenly it has come to Ghana and their players are playing at high levels

Ejuke is not a midfielder and if you can call an average Chinese club high level but not cska Moscow then you have a problem .

I think Eguavoen will bring Dessers if the finance if the NFF is ready to pay the fine. Our striking department is low now and he knows it. He left out Dessers because he want to replace the Initial players who pulled out from the 40 man list. Going outside that list may have been somehow.

Why would Rohr leave Desser out of the 40 man list in the first place? A red hot striker in the Eredivise!
And Subzero and Emeka were all over here ranting that Eguavon chased the foreign borns away..

This is simply Rohr's mistake coming back to bite us..

The 40 man list had no regulations whatsoever. According to Eguavoen, after Osimhen pulled out, he considered Dessers before settling with Onyekuru because the latter had been with the team since, and he didn't want to jump outside the already published list to call up a player.

Your opinion not Fact. As far as tactics is concerned you simply cannot tell which player has more understanding than the other because you are not privy to the specific tactical instructions these players have received from their coaches.
The information you have is mere tactical outline which is not sufficient for you to reach such definite positions as you have done.

By looking at how a team play, both individually and collectively, you can deduce the team's tactics and instructions from the coach.

Why do coaches make tactical switches and personnel changes during the course of a game.
