You will behave to do a factory reset from recovery.

Hold power Button and up volume button, try to reboot from recovery, if it doesn't work, then a factory reset is what you need to do

Check if you selected "Reading mode" from the notification panel and unselect it.

No,i did not. I don't use reading mode at all. Last thing i did was reply to a chat and put off my data then dropped the phone.

Power+vol_up is not responding,only pwr+vol_down brings FASTBOOT.

Please I just got a second new redmi note 8 about 2 days ago and everything seems fine but one thing I noticed about it is that the flashlight (torch) is not bright at all. Even the tecno K7 I was using after my phone was stolen had a brighter torch and the complication in this matter is that the camera flashlight is normal. I mean the camera flashlight it bright enough when you launch camera and turn on the flashlight.

Is it that the camera uses a different flashlight from the torch?
I need urgent response pls.
