steady986:man is just going through a phase - normal after you've become the greatest shooter of all time. He will definitely be back. |

The way things are going now, I think the Pelicans should seriously consider trading Zion. The stories that keep coming out about his rehab just points to him not being reliable |

Won't do that next time.

Khanben:The level of hype when this kid was picked over ja morant was bananas. It is really wild to see how things have reversed. I agree with you, get rid of this guy while he has value, take the L and move on. This is looking like a Greg Oden type disaster. At least Oden tried to play, but not much you can do about injuries. In this case Zion does not seem to have the will to do better. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 3:52am On Jan 08, 2022 |
birdman:Oden's case is understandable, just like penny and GHill, injuries derailed some well laid plans. Zion’s case all boils down to weight issues, if he sheds the excess weight and the injuries keep occurring, then he is free from blame. But as long as he continues to weight north of 300 pounds as a 6ft 6ish basketball player, he will continue to get injured. |

birdman:Has anybody tried sh*t with Jokic since this happened? NO, and as long as Morris sits out, the more the message becomes institutionalized. |

FBS:When steph performs poorly, watch how the haters become like ESPN best analyst Where did Steph ever blame the ball? Same steady986 whose LA LAKERs team are performing like Delta Queens BBall club in Nigeria's women Bball league |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 2:28pm On Jan 08, 2022 |
steady986:MJ had so much protection from the refs in the 90s, it was not just only when others guarded him, he also had calls go his way when he committed blatant fouls. In the 80s though he took the beating like every other player |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Android22: 6:12pm On Jan 08, 2022 |
darkelf:The irony is, the guy was the one arguing earlier in the season that the new ball was affecting people's shooting and I disagreed with him vehemently. So I was surprised when he tried to imply that that was an excuse GSW apologists or fans would have tried to use for Steph Curry. If any player in this world needs defending for shooting woes, surely it is not the greatest shooter of all times. Instead of people to focus on their own team's failures, they want to troll SC whose team has won atleast 15 more games (at this point in time) than anyone projected we would win. |

So much hate on the GOAT! Week in week out, people can't allow him breath, despite remaining quiet. First, it was a nonentity who happens to be a voter call him a jerk, now it is "He will sit out the SuperBowl" if we make it. It is obvious he is being targeted but I love how he has carried himself. |

Sad to see D. Cousins become a journeyman who now earns NBA wages through 10-Day contracts. Good to see Klay come back tonight against a gritty Cavs team. Another player who needs be on the court. |

A game like yesterday's raiders vs chargers is why I will never count wins and losses as a QB stat. Herbert played as well as anybody could but somehow he eats a L, because his team lost through no fault of his. Staley needs to take a chill pill and reevaluate his 4th down calls as well. Shout out to Derek Carr, he played one of the best games I've ever watched him play and his defense made great stops throughout the whole game. |

Congratulations to the Georgia Bulldogs, well deserved! They dominated the line of scrimmage and forced Young to make bad throws leading to 2 interceptions. To beat Bama, your QB has to be dynamic, you have to dominate the line of scrimmage and you can not miss tackles. |

Ja Morant's dunk and block against Lakers na something else. Just insane. |

I read that our second team was really bad today. I'd take the L and pray that Kerr can figure out how to get the best out of Wiggins with Klay in the lineup. We must have missed Draymond Green so bad in that 4th quarter. Steph, Please we need ya! The 2021 version will be ideal. Please bra. |

This Kyrie is the most skilled PG talk is always popping up. Can anyone please explain the criteria for the most skilled PG? I understand handles and the plethora of finishing moves Kyrie can bring to bear, but is that all the criteria for the most skilled PG? |

Khanben:Of course if you are talking PG as in job function Kyrie does not crack top 10. I think people mean that is his position, so even though he is a terrible PG, he is very skilled at scoring and dribbling |

Roland17:Some of the games against tougher teams has been morant putting on a jordanesque show, so he deserves as much credit as jenkins. The way Grizz played the warriors in the play-ins last year, I had no doubt in my mind these guys would be a big problem out west. They will spoil somebody's season this year. IMHO, warriors need to avoid seeing these guys in the playoffs because they match up well, they are athletic, and like you mentioned, very well coached. |
