Write a letter to him telling him about the state of the toilet giving him 7 days ultimatum to fix up that toilet or else a protest is gonna take place and it wouldn't be funny..I think that way he is gonna do something about it rather that watching things like this happen in a hostel toilet that's supposed to be hygienic for people to poop at ease..

Hmmmmn! This is disgusting. Animals don't even live under this condition.
All through my years in UniIlorin, I never entered the school toilet. Don't even know how it looks like. But I know it wasn't dirty like this otherwise students would've made an issue out of it. Nobody really complained so it must have been okay.

It's like it's a curse for federal institutions or agencies not to work. I was at Radio Nigeria a while back, their offices look like warehouses, the environment unkempt. We were driving through Stadium hotel last week, it was an eyesore. The compound very very dirty! The white paint has turned gree from spirogyra, now this, a federal university. Nigeria is truly a failed state. The people in it too!

Sorry, I don't pray to be in such situation.Na mk I dey watch waytin I dey eat most times.
About twice I expirence running stomach unexpectedly, I gbase entre MTN office, the other occasion was a Bank I think so.

But really, for what we pay as school fees, where does the money to pay people to clean it, provide the cleaning products regularly come from? We are getting the N50k per session education that we pay for. In Nigeria of today, if anyone thinks N50k per student for 12 months can keep a whole University running, then something is wrong upstairs. And many FG universities probably don't charge up to that.


There is no magic to these things. Its costs money that is not there

To prove me wrong, someone should show me toilets from Covenant University that are in similar state

this toilet nah paradise! Come to uniabuja old boys hostel and see wat hell is like on earth even the new ones too! The problem is lack of maintenance and cleaning by both the school management and student! Sometimes i wonder if university that was supposed to be breeding ground for people that are going to change the country can be in such condition then definitely there's no hope in nigeria! Most time u'll be on que to get water for over 2-3 hours!

Yeah, that's the state of all hostels in UNICAL after the holidays but in Hall 6 and my wing, nah, this can't happen. We made sure to keep the toilet and bathroom clean and it was simply possible due to the fact that the hostel was kinda empty; now, with the resumption, the pigs of the hostel has returned. Just this Wednesday, and the toilet is disgusting.
The most funny part is even when we do cleanup as a wing, the cleaner still doesn't wash the toilet/bathroom; waiting for us the student to do it every time, which is wrong cause she is paid to do it. We washing it doesn't mean she wouldn't still do her job.

Yesterday, I made it vividly and politely clear to the cleaner that she ought to begin her job.

But honestly, I give credit to the VC Florence; since her administration began, the welfare and state of the hostels have been increasing gradually than in Akpagu's tenure.
Although, stepmother made life difficult for us..... UNICAL is not for the chicken-hearted nor the poor. I don't wish for my enemy to attend UNICAL..... E get why¡¡¡!!!

Shey dem no get hall chairman or hall chair lady for those halls of residence ni, let all the hall jambites and staylites pay their hall dues, and look for their hall alumnus to seek for more funds and repair that ghetto toilet. Na only beans night them go dey put for head during variety night and hall week.
