You dey mind Southgate, thats how he was questioning why Uzoho is still at his ''lowly" club when he knows fully well that Uzoho was injured for months, while on duty for us I might add, and you thought it wont slow down his career club wise, Rohr too still sidelined him when he returned from injury without giving him a chance even after numerous blunders by Maduka.

Southgate has no shame, so it's easy for him to spew all sort of bile on players who aren't born abroad that he obviously doesn't like...

The facts on ground is that Maduka hasn't proven himself to deserve the first choice goalkeeper slot.. If it was a local coach that went and pick a goalkeeper from the Nigeria second division now and make him the first choice goalkeeper, people will cry corruption and nepotism...

What's wrong with you folks? Take the religion talk away from the thread. You are making it difficult to track messages that matters. Do better please

TBH, I can stand the tribal and political discussions to some extent, but this religion thing is another thing entirely..

It's disappointing that it's the respected members of the thread that are pushing the topic further... SMH

Nothing fit shock me where some Christians dey again.

And the vim they use to attack the Catholic church sometimes, you wonder if they are aware that these are the people that basically fed you what you are regurgitating.

So, if they are as destructive and manipulative as you say they are, imagine what they are hiding from you. Does it not give you pause? Does it not cause you to reflect?

There is nothing hidden that has not been revealed. Martin Luther was in the forefront of protestant reformation and he was a priest.

Actually the first church of Christ was in Ethiopia.

And Christianity went from here to Europe not the other way. The scriptures have remained intact but the imagery decidedly deceptive and WHITE WASHED

No in Jerusalem.

You're actually very wrong about this

That he was a priest does not mean he had access to everything. Was he the pope? Or you think every priest has access to all the books?

Roman catholic was never the first church. Neither were any Apostle of Christ Popes at anytime with Roman Catholic. Then, how can they be the custodian of Christianity?

I don't know about your numbers, but I agree with the substance of what you have said. oga make we return back to football.

komekn:

In my opinion only 20% of Christians have read the Bible completely only 10% Actually study it and less than 5% meditate on it. And I don't want to speculate on the number who actually follow and obey it.

It follows for Muslims less than 7% of Muslims have read the Koran.

In both religion lazy People prefer for someone with a title to tell them what the Bible says and means .

I know most of these guys will be at Qatar if we qualify..But if we are really serious about moving forward, some of these guys should be excused from the team post Qatar, unless their performance really improves.. Players like Omeruo,Musa, Shehu, Ekong, Collins, Akepyi ...
by the end of this year Musa and Akpeyi will surely retire but I think we still need Ekong in the team

Hilarious. You are my brother grin. Do you know how easy it is to get saved? You might be saved already without knowing it. Jesus said my yoke is EASY and my burden is LIGHT wink smiley.

As A brother I will also recommend you read Joseph Prince's book or at least watch his sermons on YouTube. You can also see the books and sermons of others like Andrew Wommack, Andrew Farley, Bob George, Paul Ellis, Martin Luther, Brad Robertson and so on wink

Mujtahida:

Abeg continue along this christocentric path and save your brothers from the snare of Christless Christianity

Watchman Nee's books are a great resource for any christocentric Christian ( Seat, Walk Stand, The Normal Christian Life, The Spiritual Man, Christ, the Sum of all Spiritual Things)

Check out Austin Sparks(he and Nee met). You will enjoy him and his writings at this link https://www.austin-sparks.net/

Then the Prince of Preachers, Charles H Spurgeon (how I love Spurgeon). AW Tozer, George Muller, James Hudson Taylor, Hannah Hurnard, Evelyn Underhill, Micheal Molinos, Andrew Murray, Oswald Chambers, Brother Lawrence.

Johan Blumhardt and his son Christoph Blumhardt. Read this gripping story of his encounter with demonic powers in 19th century Germany in his book 'The Awakening'. Download at this link
http://hanswaldvogel.com/lib/Zuendel%20-%20Awakening.pdf

You might not be Catholic but read Jose Maria Escriva's 'Christ is Passing By' or read books by this most beloved and eloquent catholic, Bishop Fulton Sheen (both are catholics but I can assure you that if you put aside your prejudice, that's if you have any against catholics, you will find sweet jewels of deep revelation in their writings)

Read 'Preaching Christ' by Charles Mcllvaine (boy this one is hot) I used to have a softcopy but if you search well on the net you will find it.

Make I help una faith as una want to help mine tongue tongue

I can't seem to wrap my mind around this question, can you put it better? Thank you.
forgiveness:

That's a good one. One question. Are you Holy as God at the knowledge of the Good News?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Moniter0: 7:32am On Jan 10, 2022
Why I said you might be saved without knowing it is that most of the time, true faith is unconscious. The Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing the gospel of Christ. It doesn't come by you TRYING and making conscious efforts to have faith, but Just by listening to the good news.

This is what happened in Acts 10 when God told Peter to go and preach the gospel to the Gentiles at Cornelius's house. As he was preaching the gospel, faith was unconsciously birthed in their hearts and that was how they got saved!

When the true Gospel is preached, faith will spring up even without you being told to go and have faith.

Omeruo is really a wack defender. We always concede cheap goals when he's in defense
Our first match against Zambia enroute Russia 2018, he made us concede

At the WC proper he couldn't close down on Messi. Messi scored

last afcon against Cameron, he couldn't clear the incoming cross even though he was in front of the defender. Cameroon equalized

Still same match, a long ball from midfield, Omeruo couldn't head it out. He was out jumped. Cameron went 2-1 up

In the match against Algeria, he couldn't clear his lines. Algeria scored first.

Omeruo no good abeg
This is why I find many of you hilarious. You single out a players mistakes and then call him wack. If it's like that, who then is not wack?

Leon, Akpoguma, Ebuehi, Aina, Ekong have all made mistakes that cost or almost cost us dearly. Seems you didn't even watch Omeruo at the last AFCON.

in fact, a lot of people practicing other "religions", might just be saved without knowing it! Because Jesus did not come to establish religion, on the contrary He came to free people from religion because religion produces bondage. The Jews were in religious bondage of the law prior to His coming. So you may be practicing other "religions", with Christian "religion" inclusive, but that's not what saves. The Bible says WHOSOEVER believes has eternal life. So the word "whosoever" covers you whether you're a judaist, buddhist, Muslim, WHOSOEVER believes shall be saved.

Does that mean we wouldn't want to continue religion? Of course yes! Who would want continue with something that has put him bondage when there's freedom for him/her? Religion says you must DO, Jesus says it is DONE. Religion will want to make you achieve the very things that Christ has achieved for you. For instance, religion will give you rules upon rules you so that you can be close to God and accepted by God if you keep those rules, but Christ has done it all on your behalf and credited you with His righteousness so that you are close to God and accepted by Him. This is how He has set us free from the bondage of religion. We who believe in Christ are to rest in His finished work, instead of trying, laboring and working to achieve what Christ has achieved for us. Jesus said He would give us rest, and He successfully accomplished that for us. This is why I am not religious, instead I am relaxing with God like Hebrews 4 tells us.
@ Mujtahida, Safarigirl, Chriskels, and all.

It's an opinion. But it's also a heavily ill-informed one.

Nwakali has played deeper more times. Even this season alone, Aribo has played much closer to the box either from the left or right or from midfield compared to Nwakali.

So please, due checks will easily tell you which opinions are junks and which are well researched.
