I have always been reading about men tolerating shit simply because kids are already involved but the truth is that women knows this and use it to manipulate. The first thing on an average African woman’s mind immediately after wedding is how to get pregnant and give birth and some men blindly follow. When a woman wants to leave a marriage the first thing she think of leaving with are mostly the kids because she knows that she can use the kids to keep collecting money in form of child support from the man. That’s why most divorce women receiving child support from their ex husbands don’t work cos they feed on the money sent for child support. So as a man, your wife leaves and probably gets married to another man or starts dating other men, instead of you to focus on your life you’re busy working day and night so you can send money to her for children’s school fees and upkeeps. Mr ken (not real name) has always been on the road 80% of his life.

First, as a Truck conductor (15years to 22 years ) then later as a Truck driver.

One should forgive to let go of resentment (as resentment is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die) but that doesn't necessarily mean one should 'forget'. Forgive some people in your mind but not openly (to their face) because some people take 'open' forgiveness as a permit to eventually continue the nonsense that they do, but just forgive in your mind and keep some distance then watch how the person behaves themselves.
