I've seen a lot of comments and opinions online, the hate coming from Igbo people towards Tinubu is too much.

Tinubu represents the success story of Yorubas political sophistication. They are attacking him because they hate the entire Yoruba race. If Tinubu drops out of the race today and support Osinbajo, they will attack the VP with the same energy they are using to attack Tinubu. It is who they are.

They never supported Awolowo. They hated MKO Abiola and voted against him. They voted against Olu Falae because they see him as Yoruba candidate. So bro, what they are doing to Tinubu should not be a surprise to you. It is nothing new. Good enough, we have a plan to deal with them politically.

If Igbos could hate Awolowo (both while alive and in death) who never governed any of their states in his lifetime, to the extent of spreading lies about him commiting suicide by ingesting rat poison, how much more Tinubu? Bottom line is that they hate strong Yoruba leaders. They instead try to prop up weak Yoruba leaders that they can intimidate and control. If Igbos say they like any Yoruba leader it is because they perceive such person as being weak.

A few reasons.

1. Igbos want to take over Lagos by all means and they see Tinubu as their biggest stumbling block. Their aim is to have an Igbo Governor.

2. They just hates anything that seems to be better than them. The fact that Igbos don't have any politician that comes close to Tinubu is relevance automatically makes him their enemy. They hate anything that seems better than them or theirs.

3. They hate anything Yoruba and Tinubu is the political powerhouse of Yoruba politics.

I am happy all Yorubas can clearly see this now.

Nobody hates tinubu as a person. Its all politics, the same tinubu that spoke ill about Buhari, later dumped him on Nigerians.

So what is the problem? Or did you expect everyone to love Tinubu?

It's Yorubas of old that caused it including this Tinubu that allowed their excesses on Yoruba soil..

I can recall back in the days when true Lagosians had clash with Tinubu for giving Lagos elective posts to outsiders like Igbos.. it caused serious fight in his camp then and the true sons of Lagos left him out of grief.

Fast forward to years later, the Igbos that crossed over 1000 miles and river Niger started laying claim to Lagos and its governance structure saying it's no man's land and that they dream of an Igbo governor in Lagos. Reason we're warning those old fo0ls we have as leaders in South West to better be careful if not true Yorubas will rise up and bury them all.

Ibos hate anything Yoruba cos they see Yoruba as threat. They hate tinubu more because he's the landlord of Lagos where ibos take as second home. They would rather have ibo men as leaders in Lagos but as it stands tinubu has crunched all their plans into pieces. An average lagosian knows that ibos don't wish well for Yoruba.

They prefer Yorubas that would depend on Igbo votes to get elected, so that they can use that as a blackmail and intimidation tool. They tried that in Lagos severally, but failed each time. Their end game is leverage and control of the Yoruba political space. But they will continue to fail.
