A happy 2022 to us all. I got denied in Lagos in December 2021. Unknown to me, the person helping me fill my ds-160 wrote that this masters would help me get a good job when I’m back home, and I answered another thing when I was asked by the consular. Now I want to reapply and fill a new job I’ve been working in since this month, what are my chances of being approved? Thank you as I look forward to a reply smiley

Applied to 4 schools?
What's your intended course and GRE score?
I think the university of Alabama should be part of the schools, noticed you wrote about the application fee waiver back then.
Did not write GRE! Applied to only schools that waived.
Course: Communication Studies
Yes, the University of Alabama is inclusive.

You can reapply immediately. Try Abuja.

What state denied you, by the way?

Shoot your shots again.

I tried Lagos and was denied EA. Had to switch to Abuja and it was granted.

Best wishes!

Please did you get EA for Abuja too? I learned that one can only apply for another EA after being denied after six months. How true is this?

Good evening everyone, I scheduled my visa appointment today, and the available date I saw was August 26th. I'm meant to start school this summer (June 1st). Someone recommended choosing the date and applying for an emergency appointment, which I did. Another person is saying I should have kept checking until the end of the month because the earliest emergency date I can get now is June or July. Please I need advice oo
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 16 by mojolajesu(m): 10:04pm On Jan 12, 2022
For Abuja, I think there are still dates in January. You can give it a try.

Checking over and over doesn’t ascertain you getting a closer date. It’s a 50/50 chance.

Hi guys, I really need your advice. I am on F1 (since August 2021 )and my wife is applying for f2 after one previous denial. Due to this appointment date backlog, what chances would she have of getting an approval if she goes for an interview when I have just a few months left in my program? My program ends August 2022. I fear if she got an interview date later than March 2021, that may affect approval since that would mean I have less than 6 months in my program. What do y'all think?
Right now, all the initial dates available are August. I am aware earlier dates may open up later but can f2 be approved when the F1 visa holder's studies are just a few months to the end?

Good day everyone, I just joined this platform of recent and I've always been praying for the person that recommended this platform to me. Am really excited to be here because I gotten a lot of enlightenment.
But I have a question that I'll love everyone to help in enlightening me.
I got denied of an F1 visa at US embassy Abuja and that was November. On my I20 form I inputed that I was learning IT( programming and building of websites) but I was told that was the reason I was denied due to the fact that Nigeria is known for it rampage in Yahoo, so they have that in mind already.
Knowing that, I just reapplied but I am yet to pick a date at Lagos due to the unfavorable date that is still showing. But on my current DS160 form I inputed that I am a student meanwhile I just wrote my post jamb last year and I'll be given admission this February, so due to the far date my admission will be out and I need to quickly fill up my DS160 so I could see a favorable date on time, so I just forged a date which I got my admission ( date I became a student), with the hope of backdating my admission letter to the date I inputed in my DS160.
My question now is am I good to go with this plan?? Because if I am to use February which is my original date when admission will be given to me and my interview is in June, won't the consular be like I just got admission and I want to go abroad, won't he deny me because of that?
Will the consular confirm from my school if I tender my admission letter to prove am a student here in Nigeria
In expectancy of your reply everyone, thanks in advance guys.

Okay. That's why it's strongly advised to fill your ds160 yourself. You can fill in your new job and when asked what has changed you will answer accordingly.

Best of luck

Good morning everyone,

I applied for F1 visa in 2019 and was denied. Now, I want to apply again. Do I need to fill out a new DS-160 form or retrieve the one I submitted in 2019?

Your advice will be much appreciated.

after applying for EA? That’s can’t be bro

Whatever date you see there, just pick it and apply for EA. Give your strong reasons and once it’s approved, you will see January dates
