Visa Granted!

I applied for student visa August 2020 but it was refused because my CAS was cancelled by the University.
I called the University to tell them I couldn't meet the resumption date since I had not gotten my Visa and I was informed I'd be deferred to January 2021.

I called the UKVI to inform them that my CAS had been cancelled and the lady on the phone asked if I wanted to withdraw my application. I told the lady that the withdrawal will take a while before I get my passport back but I'm okay with a refusal so I can get my passport back immediately.

Two days later, I was refused but I wasn't bothered so I reapplied with priority in November 2020 so as to avoid the long processing time.

I was scheduled for a phone interview on the 5th day and I answered all the questions but I was refused.

The reasons given were blatant lies saying I didn't know much my fees was and didn't know what my sponsor did for a living.

I applied for AR and it was refused, did PAP - the refusal was upheld.

I proceeded to Judicial Review then the lies were upgraded to "the applicant states NEVER to return back to Nigeria."
The Judge asked for the recording of my phone interview be presented the following week.

By the following week, the transcript of the phone interview shown I clearly stated how much my fees was and what my sponsor did for a living. No where was it stated that I'd never come back to Nigeria. Instead I said it was my plan to return back to Nigeria to open a Consultancy firm.

The legal representative for the Home Office reached out to the Barrister representing me and myself (email) asking to settle outside court.
The Barrister asked if I was okay with a settlement, I said Yes but wanted them to pay all the cost I incurred during the JR process and a new decision be made.

It was agreed and signed.

July 2021, a new CAS was requested for September 2021. I was asked to provide it within a week.

The University took a while to reply, before they provided a new CAS I was refused again. I WAS LIVID. I sent the Home Office an email telling them I'd follow it up to JR and this time THERE WOULD BE NO SETTLEMENT OUTSIDE COURT.

I applied for AR and it took 3 months before it was successful.
I got several emails of apologies and passport was requested for November 10.

I submitted my passport 10th November, 2021.
Collection email: 13th January, 2022.

This journey started August, 2020.

No I did not send any paid mail nor paid call. I was just waiting for them to make decision. I responded on the 7th Jan. 2022. I did my biometrics in Abuja Tls. Thank you.

If they say scan, follow simple instruction and scan. them get why?
they know you can easily edit and modify image online or snapchat, lol
you should have family pic or photo album when you got married. so try scan as per instruction.

My wife's application just moved to VAC this morning around 11am, 2 hours later, she received collection mail and DHL dispatch mail from TLS.
She initially sent a paid mail on Tuesday 11th January and was told its awaiting decision.
We both did biometrics same day (walk-in) 20th December Abuja, but i got an NSF mail last Sunday 9th January to submit letter of consent from my wife(main applicant) in whose account all the POF funds were warehoused.
I responded same day too.
Please when should i be expecting decision on my own application?
I'm so sure DHL will deliver her passport to us tomorrow whereas mine is still at DMC.

expect it soon since principal applicant has been cleared.

Are you asking about POF for the purpose of issuing CAS? if yes, Hull does not require that. You only need to pay 2k deposit before CAS

If you ask me NSF mail is not actually a bad thing apart from the delay it cause it just make them do a thorough Job, if all you documents are authentic, be assured you will get your visa. i got NSF mail yesterday requesting nothing, today my one of my bank called me.( cos i used 2 statement,) to verify if i am aware that my statement of account was summited at an embassy, and i told them yes, and i summited it with my application she said i did to tell the customer service that i was going to use it at the embassy, they would have printed it in a more presentable letter headed paper. and i said they did not ask me. she said they normally ask, honestly they did not ask me. cut the long story short. she said no problem, they are going to verify it .
and i said thank you.

Normally, whenever you go to the bank to print out statement for visa purpose, you are supposed to tell them that you need it for visa application/ its going to the embassy.
