I’m in one Abuja WhatsApp group where they dread rejecting/cancelling a request due to bolt ban. How do you escape this since you select your trips?

Please I want to join the group

Few moments ago, I ordered bolt to deliver a TV to a customer in ikotun, as I clicked on confirm order like this, I saw a female profile (driver), omoo, I quickly cancelled the ride ni o. grin
I ordered for another one and driver arrived in less than 10 mins.
As we're on road like this, I just told the driver about the female driver that first popped up when I ordered, I told him as I saw a female like this, I quickly cancelled the ride ni ooo.
This driver first take me laugh anyhow. He said I should not have cancelled that ladies are also on bolt driving. I said it's because I never see a lady since I been dey use Bolt app to order, that's why I was shocked and cancelled immediately. This driver just dey laugh at me. That females are also on bolt hustling. I feel bad and amused right not for cancelling the lady. grin grin grin

Yesterday I got a request from Ikoyi to Ijede, Ikorodu (I hardly do offline because of security and before you know rider will remember all the stops they need to make along the way). On my way back I stopped at the famous Owode market, omo I trip for the place o whatever you need them go bring am for you. Unlike Ladipo where there's a shop, these guys just took me to the car and showed me what I wanted to buy. grin. I sort of like the place but what's the gaurantee of the parts? It's left to my mechanic sha.

Sure it's not easy, and it's made worse by our sick economy and dieing naira.

Car wash and pos success depends on the market share you control.... And if you enjoy a larger share of the market.... 10k per day will be intangible.

Ehailing is a cash cow and if you are lucky to have the right tool that help your minimize your running cost, you wil always be at the profit side.

I know of a lady that nets close to 25k per day on this pos things and the running cost is minimal and fixed ...salary, rent unlike ehailing....

There is a car wash before you enter magodo phase 2, you can't talk about netting 10k daily I am sure they will net X 4 of that daily with a fixed running cost.

Ehailing is a big market, enter it and get as much as you can and make good business decisions with what you make of it..

Ask me should you invest in ehailing....capital yes..

No strategy ! No skill

All I do is filter trips at least with a minimum assurance of 1500 or more.

I start work early and as I dey close, I fuel my car in preparation of the second day work...

I just always come out with the mindset that I will net the 10k and I will.

Congratulations on your new car.

For the car documents, that will be taken care of at inspection centre. You don't have to upload hackney permit.

Inspection is 1200, but those guys like to be roja'ed so just hold like 1500 or 2k. I don't know any inspection centre with little crowd, I do mine at conoil filling station after dopemu bridge (the first fuel station by the right after the bridge coming from iyana ipaja)

The other documents, I do not have so I can't tell how much they are

So last night I put ine little brat in her place by driving her to a police station.

I was at world oil/Blanco,lekki when this request to Ogudu came in just 800meters away. She called to inform me where she was going and Where she was, though she didn't really know so a guy gave me a proper direction. She was polite in the phone.

Got to PU and called to inform them I was outside but I'd to call again after 2min of paid waiting time to ask of their whereabout b4 they came out.

This girl was just pulling my door knob without any form of notification she's out, the young guy came to my window and I wind down so he told me he was the ine that requested but the girl is the ine going. Okay, no problem... I unlocked the doors and they hugged each other and she hooped in.

My seats were already cold and she mood Immidiately seating down so I turned to look at her to find out if there was a problem.

Why are you looking at me like that? She said. Did I entered somebody's private car, this doesn't look like a Uber ooh... Pls wait let me confirm again. She tried calling the guy but he had already gone back inside. She called my line and it rang so she was relaxed and then we started the trip.

Me: where is this place on yiur address
Ogudu road, ojota she replied.

Aunty don carry her 2 left legs fold untop2my seat dey make calls for back, I cautioned her to seat properly. Those were our only words to each other.

Got to her destination and the street is off Ogudu so I mistook it to a very bad road I enter earlier in the day to pickup a rider so I park right in front of the street and told her sorry I can't enter thus your street its very bad my experience today was not pleasant.

as if she was waiting for such opportunity b4, na so aunty start to talk plenty oh, I won't pay you, why did I book a ride, why didnt you say you won't enter my street b4 we started the trip, I wont pay you kobo... Shuu! Fromnthe map where you're going to is just 70meters away... For where? Maybe she was annoy that I asked her to seat properly b4... I just ended the ride since she doesnt have manners of approach and made boost of not paying. Trip ended N3,200

This girl was still ranting, I don off engine already, like 3min she wasn't making any move at all and kept quiet. It was dark and the area was scanty somehow, who will now listen to us I thought...

I took my phone and search for the nearest police station on Google map.
Me: you don't want to pay me my money abi? I started the car and drove off, you go see craze today i told her.

She was still talking, you want to kidnapp me? Bla bla bla... Where are you talking me to, bla bla bla... Tobthe police station i said...

To cut the story short... Na she first jump down and started narrating to the police men and women what happened, insulting me right in their presence. She wouldn't even allow me talk. Las Las she said money is in the house, her phone is dead, she can't do payment, all sort of excuses. One of the police women suggested she use a bike to her house she refused. She started shedding crocodile tears... I told her tears don't move me.

Finally, one of the officers called me aside and told menthe street is not as bad as I thought that their HMO hospital is located in that street that I should just take her let her pay me so i can go. I said only on one condition, she pay me first because I might get there and another drama will start. So the officer offered to go with us.

Getting to her house, this girl no even get shi shi she started to make several calls for money. Webt inside to get 1k from God knows who, came back to her beg in the car to get N200 and then one Joshep guy transferred 2k to my account. olopka man just dey laugh as I dey go drop am for station.

I gave the police guy the N1200 he refused to accept it. He said I should not worry.

In fact enh... I was just wondering! So you no get money na him ur mouth dey run like tap like this?

Yesterday was not it at all.

Did about 13trips and wasn't able to gross ordinary 20k.

I walked one of those unilag spoilt brat out of my car. Very stupid little boy.

Was at Morocco junction when his request came in to Ogba bus stop... I thought I should just close and go home at the time since it was about 4pm. But the road to PU is very bad and the alternate road was showing 1.8km. Men I was already exhausted couple with the unproductive and unmotivational trips I'd done for the day. So I arrived hoping to cancel after 5min.

The young man called to tell me he's waiting without even bordering to question why I arrive when I'd not actually arrive.

So I just decided to go pick him, little did I know I was heading for something unpleasant.

Got to his street Bambgode or thereabout, off Fola Agoro, the street is locked, the next one is also locked, the other one is another about 1km... No no be me... Oga abeg come meet me here through the small gate you're just about 100m away... This boy said he has load that I should use the other street.

I've come this far with the bad road let me just go, I said to myself.

Got to his PU, the went to make a turn and he came out with another younger boy who put the 2 little hand bag in the boot... Very little bags ooh...

This idiot sat in front and couldn't even say anything, no greeting, nothing like sorry for the stress...

Me: this was stressful...
R: how? You're supposed to come through here na, dont you know that gate is always locked
Me: how I'm I supposed to know? You're supposed to give proper direction to your PU but you allowed me going through stress turning all over the place
R: me I don't know anywhere called morocco so how I'm I supposed to jnow where you're?
You're wrong to tell me I stressed you.

I just looked at him and told him, pls step out of my car now.

He just immidtaley stepped out.
Me drove off, he requested like twice again and cancelled.

From there I got a request to VI on 1.3x, trip ended 2300 madam gave me 3k and left, got another to osapa London ph2, and then to lekki but the guy changed his mind to Blanco na so I take go meet that daughter if jazebel lastnight oh.

The stress to make a living in Nigeria is becoming alarming.

If any of us here try vo.te for either ti.nu.bu or Aticulate next year I go naked swear for that person I sweargrin

That the street I'm talking about on the lane toward ojota bus stop coming from.inside ogudu it welcomes a 2nd or 3rd turning coming in from ojota inward ogudu.

The woman I went to pick went to pick her kids from a school inside ogudu GRA and wanted me to take them to Gbagada but because of what she did I declined.

How would you allowed me to enter knowing the street is that bad, she said she was inside the market buying things so she forgot to call Men to wait her by the road side... I just thought in my mind, but you remembered to request a ride... Id.iot!

That was the exprience I'd that informed my decision with this olosho girl but instead of her to calm down and explain... Well, it was clear she wanted to scam me b4 but its bounced on hergrin

The bold part... I had a similar scenario around that axis too one time in December around 7pm. Out of frustration I canceled and drive straight to VI.

I kept turning and turning, zooming map to see alternative road to this guy pick up. I will get to point A, gate closed, B gate closed, C gate closed. Point D, gate closed argh. And this mumu is less than 100mtrs out

How the fxck do these people except a total stranger to know this.

If not for Puppet we have as a Governor. During BRF administration, this gate closure of a thing was outlawed. The most annoying thing is, you'll see group of 6-10 unit of houses, dem go Mount gate take guard themselves. Its crazy.
