Sudanese ain't here to joke. They are well prepared for this match. Tactically they wanna clip our wings and hit us on fast counter.

And we have helped them a lot by ball watching.

I mentioned that the Sudanese goalie leaves his post empty a lot, and we have seen that in this game and failed to take advantage of it.

Today's game is also not fast-paced, and I don't know if that is because we want to approach Sudan differently than we did Egypt

My Observations and Notes after the First Twenty Minutes:

*There is no creativity in this Nigeria's fiest eleven.

*Ndidi , KC and Aribo has not shown their presence.

*Moses has been a bit quiet.

* We have lost the midfield...there is no creativity.

* It beginning to show Aribo offers very little in midfield control.

*Sudan is becoming more threatening and dominating the midfield.

*Awoniyi is not getting any ball supply.

* Chukwueze and Aina most lively.

Suggestion: We definitely need some form of authority and control in the midfield....Nwakali's introduction has become crucial if you mind.

Expect more of that in the coming games. We've told everybody that we play from the wings. I expect the coach to introduce a midfield 3 in the second half and switch play

I think we will have to do that against tougher oppositions.

Despite that, we are still penetrating

You should calm down, you are back to default.

Again, you are trying to pull one player down to promote another. Aribo has been very impressive in this game and I doubt anyone else will say otherwise.

It's not even 45 mins yet and you've started talking down on the young man. Not fair to me.

He's had two chances at goal so far and he's been connecting well with the forward.

Again, can down.

Chukwueze and Iheanacho on the right side competing for who will lose the ball the most

I seriously think we need an extra man in the midfield.
Chukwueze should be removed and Iheanacho drifted to his wing to play as a wing forward, also playing closer to Awoniyi, while Aina should always make forward runs to covers up. Then maybe Iwobi should be brought in to play along side Ndidi and Aribo in the midfield.
Then Onyekuru should be brought in very early in the second half to replace Simon

The team has not done badly ... they need to take things slow . We re leading and we will score more goals .
