Ndidi was Nigeria's least progressive player against Egypt, shockingly uncomfortable with the ball at feet.

Ndidi rose up today. What a response.

Two players on the outside to release the ball too and Sadiq decides to give a long back pass to the Sudan keeper.

WELL DONE

Omeruo and Maduka need to coordinate themselves. Know which ball to leave for another.

Nwakali and Sadiq have really been playing premium nonsense.

But this Sadiq guy's nonsense is special.

Look at the rubbish shot he shot after eating grass in the last 30 minutes

That ball is the defenders ball he is supposed to clear and control that ball it's a basic low level cross.

All these Nwakali slander. Is it not the lad that had given 3 accurate long balls in this same half and even had a driving move just now setting up iwobi on the wings?

His distribution was very tidy and he alongside Iwobi made us keep the ball more in the middle.

We struggled to do this in the first half. Iwobi and Nwakali steps in and we were neat in pass recyles but ofcos people that don't know ball must slander.

Superficial observers. grin

Didn't even realize we are playing today. Let me watch the game. Heard Bruno scored the goal.. I pray they don't end up breaking our hearts.

And I wonder what Okoye and Omeruo were doing in that final moment of the game?

Didn't Omeruo hear Okoye from behind him? Na wa ooo..

I am not happy we conceeded against this Sudanese side and I am not happy we struggled to exert good passing control in the middle in that first half.

I am also not happy we felt so relaxed. That drop in intensity caused us a cleansheet.

3-0 was wayyyy better than this 3-1 scoreline.

But honestly Eguaveon no too try. I suppose he is playing Sadiq again cos he thinks a player can be useless, but not against Sudan. He's wrong. grin You better play someone else against Guinea Bissau.

He's tidy in possession

Yes it is a defenders job but some clearances are quite unnecessary. Put some trust in your keeper and allow him catch the ball when he is in position.

See how Maduka was waiting for Omeruo to clear ball and barely parried it at last minute. The one he went for and almost caught Omeruo now came to clear it. That's confusion.

Osimhen and Napoli really mess up

Osimhen suppose dey light up this afcon. Most likely would have scored a brace or hatrick

I hope our next match this Sadiq chops bench for the entire 90mins

Also if Egypt draw or lose against guinea. I hope we see a totally different starting lineup against Guinea Bissau. I have a feeling that Ejuke guy is a gem. Would be nice to see Ejuke, Ebuehi, Frank, Olisa ndah, semi ajayi and onyekuru
