Kante strikes me as a more of a box-to-box midfielder than a rigid DM..

Anybody who plays in midfield and his skill set is rigid as opposed to to versatile and adaptable , will be at a disadvantage.

Top Midfielders can play anywhere in the midfield and can very quickly go from defence to instigating the attack and even scoring if needs be.

It is essentially the difference from being very good and Excellently world class .

For this whole AFCON, na only Nigeria and like 3 other countries never see penalty.

All these other penalty merchants...Mali hasn't even scored any goal from open play.

Ndidi is no conductor. So he didn't understand. With time, even he appreciated Nwakali's presence. The stats of Ndidi rose thanks to Nwakali. So citing one moment is inconsequential to the big picture achieved eventually. Bye.

Joezinho:

The same ndidi that got frustrated at a point by his lacklustre backward passes? cheesy

I am happy to inform you that Awaziem and Nwakali are the two players in this current team with the best passing range of all players.

In Camp, it has been established already. Only that Awaziem nurses an injury now.

If that's true , which I very much doubt.

Fabulous, let them do it week in week out in their club and league and then they will not continuously be in the back waters of European football leagues or in the obscurity of the Segunda Division.

I am not your Nigga... watch your tongue Lana.

All you can say is that you don't understand anything about the middle game dynamics instead of keep running with your ignorance about how Impressive Nwakali was yesterday in carrying out simple Midfield instructions.

No shame in saying you don't know. No shame.

No wonder Onyeka looks up to kante as his idol...

He has the physicality, stamina, strength and pace to emerge as one of the best midfielder..

Not really that impressive if we break it further down:

*An attacking midfielder made 29 back passes into own half and 14 into opposition half. *I expect this posting from a DM.
* Only 2 dribbles from an AM on for 65 minutes.
* Long ball abilities is zero , of course.
*Lost possession of ball 7 times...very poor and contributed to weak midfield.

Anyways , I will give him credit for 8 ground duel won, 94% passing rate and 9 recoveries made. However , I am not impressed.
Na u sabi

Aribo vs Sudan
Oga thank you...all I know Eguavoen thought Aribo will not be able to withstand Africa opposition, needed to call Nwakili and gave Aribo Egypt match as a test run and he didn't disappointed, against Sudan he was brilliant....now Aribo name is on the lip of Eguavoen as one of the players that are unplayable.....truly,am impressed more with Nwakili against Sudan, hopefully more games we are going to see his best......but one thing is cleared Nwakili will work his socks off to bench Aribo....Aribo work rate damn high, funny enough am seeing guys saying our midfield was in tatter against Sudan, enough of this trash abi not Sudan match again and we are complaining about Rohr....some here would be terrible as a coach, picking player on sentiments by rubbishing hard working ones in favour of their chosen players....enough of this, let us analyze as it is even if we don't rate a player...I don't rate Ekong but so far the guy is unplayable.

Smh. So sad. You could not keep up with the analytical discussions so you drop to foul boulevard. How very very disappointing Lana.

Do you even know the role of a midfield conductor?
MFC acts as the controller and dictates tempo from midfield.

Quick one-touch passing and movement to allow his teammates to bypass the opposition press and progress the ball vertically up the pitch.

Oga, bye..

You would know a lot about ugliness and foul lips and fingers.

Once someone questions your intelligence, your go-to strategy is to start talking to them as if you gave birth to them

So much for your faux intelligence, we can see the difference in methods between you and an actual intelligent party on this thread. He wouldn't resort to calling people ignorant to prove his point, but you?

True this.

Gambia gave a good fight. I doubt that group as a whole, is very strong, but one can never tell.

Mali will most likely top the group though, if we're looking at quality of opponents in the final round.

Lol... you couldn't even keep up with the analysis discourse. You had no answer to any of the numbers/stats I dropped since last night that disproved your Backpasses talk.

You know you f**ked up when you dropped Nigga. You speak foul a lot when carried away. It's in your DNA, Lana. Fix yourself.

You are always one step away from dropping foul talks when your ignorance shines through. Very bad. Remain on your pseudointellectual high horse aiit... but you know you messed up. You know.

Come on Dad. Don't act blind. She dropped Nigga. And then used the word, Negro. All because she had no answer to my analytical angles. What's that?

Lana remains synonymous with a very foul tongue. Nothing's changed about that since I walked in here since 2015. She needs help, believe me.

Well , that is one straight way of looking at it. You could also say your most gifted midfielder ( remember I didn't use best...you did , my learned man...lol) just happened play in the second division. These things happen a lot. Sometimes, clubs doesn't prove the quality of a player.

Take this case in point ; Iwobi has struggled in England for many years with nothing to show for his ratings but he is still there because he is English and our gifted Nwakali could not even get workers permit to play in England.

The other day Cc.Kogs45 was here defending the "sufferings" of Aribo....he said Aribo went through alot in life because he dropped out of school...I was shocked
Excuses, excuses and more excuses. Nwakali in second division is expected to be dominating the league but from his stats it shows he has been woeful. From creative midfielder to long ball specialist now you guys have switched to midfield coordinator which he is terrible at as well, keep deceiving yourselves.
