Looolll... It is the other way round. Ndidi looked far better due to the entrance of Nwakali. His presence practically brought out the best in Ndidi for the final 25 mins of that game.

That is an eye-test truth.

To go far as a team we need play makers with nwakali style of play. That limitation was obvious if u remember Nigeria vs Algeria 2019 afcon semi final

A response to attention-craving gobshite like you would occur only after the second coming of Jesus..

This is what happens when one's head contains more wools than sense..

I am done with you.

I tot I changed this "foul" channel. What's up today? So many foul channels on rampage sponsored by Ignorance of middle game dynamics. Lol

This will do it. grin

Aribo is the natural CM support for ndidi. He is the fulcrum around which that midfield turns..

We are yet to see Aribo's full attacking potential because he has been burdened with defensive duties..

One of Nwakali's weakness is his work rate. If you put him in the midfield with Ndidi, his work rate will always let us down and this maybe ignored if he created bucket loads of chances which I am not sure he will do either because he does nothing to boost the attack...

Well said, and these and the ones hammering on his "creativity" yet majority of his passes are backwards.

Their hate (for some) and ignorance (for some) will NEVER allow them admit this. Our Gidigbo kind of football took us as far as the Semis in the last Afcon. We met a proper well drilled ball-playing team and we got outplayed. End of the road.

Their refusal to see the good Nwakali brought into yesterday's game has now made it all about Nwakali when infact it should be about the team and the team only.

Such ignorance and unwillingness to appreciate those that see what you don't see in midfield analyses will always be their bane. Their pride won't let them learn.

But it's fine. We move.

West Ham vs Leeds 2-4.

One of the worst offside decisions in history. Rodrigo wasn't even interfering with play and didn't change the direction of the ball.

Come on Dad. Don't act blind. She dropped Nigga. And then used the word, Negro. All because she had no answer to my analytical angles. What's that?

Lana remains synonymous with a very foul tongue. Nothing's changed about that since I walked in here since 2015. She needs help, believe me.

I didn't say one word of insult. You can read my posts. I only cautioned her to watch using foul words on me after she dropped "Nigga". That was all.

She could have checked herself seeing it was me...but did that stop her? Noooo... she wanted to go wild but I still kept my cool and only expressed my disappointment. End of story.

So Dad, I did nothing wrong. Lana needs help.

Joe Aribo vs Sudan: Impressive showing.

Aribo in 65mins:

94% passing accuracy (43 accurate passes)
29 passes in own half.
14 passes in/into opposition half.
1/2 accurate long balls (50%)
1 shot on target
1 shot off target
100% dribbling success (2/2)
8/12 ground duels won
1/1 aerial duels won
4 tackles
2 interceptions
1 foul committed
Was fouled twice.
9 recoveries.
Lost possession 7 times.

Also, Had a key pass to Awoniyi that set up a very good cross pass that was not utilised in the end. The stats didn't pick that up as a Keypass but I do.

Cc Idennaa. You asked for it. wink

This is intimidating.
This is massive.

This is the kind of stats Etebo will give on his day, no wonder Etebo is playing in the EPL for Watford.

Actually, I likened Aribo to Etebo the very first time i saw him play for the Super Eagles.

Well it seems the whole of the coaching staff at Arsenal, MVV Maastricht, Venlo, Porto B and even Huesca in the Segunda Division where he is the second lowest paid player in his club. Seem not understand him.

So not just the fans but all the coaching staff in that have been involved with him apart from the NFF coaching staff who have given him undue opportunity.
Na your kind dey put advert for a 26yrs old with 18yrs postgraduate experience. I still wonder how you expect an 18yrs old Nwakali @ MVV to be playing like 30yrs old Pirlo.

Another baseless ad hominem, like I said keep deceiving yourself. Aribo created chances for Awoniyi and Moses, had a couple of attempts on goal while Nwakali on the other hand created chances for Ekong and Omeruo to loop the ball into the opponents half. If that is your idea of coordination they suit yourself.

It's good to stay open minded on these players. Aribo is not the Playmaker I seek but his other attributes speak good for him and is key to our team as well.

We haven't gotten it gung-ho in the middle game yet but you cannot blame Eguavoen because he is being careful and don't wanna take too many risks after having only taken over the team 3 weeks ago I think? Yeah.
