Has anyone noticed that the Eagles jersey kit does not include the heart monitoring unit while Egypt does.
This is very sad recalling how many incidents of callapsed players this country has recorded
I guess you're talking about what salah wore. It is not a heart monitoring unit. It is GPS based tracker used to track player's game runs and performances.

The only thing that prevents cardiac arrest is a pacemaker. It is only fitted on people with heart issues and it is through surgery not as a jersey kit.

Sierra Leone drawing against 2 African power house

But match never Start some people don Dey talk how Egypt go take beat us grin

The ivorians have themselves to blame.. Kessie missed a PK in the first half and they missed a chance to put the game beyond Sierra Leone but they couldn't slot in a simple tap in..

I love the competitiveness of AFCON. The minnows are really proving themselves. They don't wana exit without putting up a fight.

E be like say Sierra Leone want to come and do a Zambia 2012 on us ooo, those guys are playing knock out stage football.
If Alg and CIV couldn't beat them, meeehnn I don't see who can beat them oo
maybe Nigeria, Cameroon, Morocco.... furthermore any team that will beat them should get ready for 120mins football and possibly penalty seeshootout...those guys look like a Semifinal material

I don't think so. CIV ought to have finished off the game since. They were just wasting clear cut chances.

Ahhhh... Lol... Noooo... but that's the funny thing Odenigbo.

The truth is we did exchange numbers but we don't even talk that much and when we do, It is I who do the calling just to check on her. Our talks are almost always months apart. And she will admit I even checked in on her during the holidays while I was still away from this thread. I checked on Icon4s too. He can testify.

I make it a point of duty to just check on couple of people in my contacts either by calls or text or SM if I know you would see it eventually. I do this despite my schedules. I understand that you can rise to whatever position in life but people relationships are still the best currency in life.

I mean, She's a lady, I was only being a gentleman. I also sent her something for her birthday only because I am generous and love to make people happy. That's who I am. smiley

But you see her display of "wildness" and utter lack of decorum today all because she was not faring well in the Nwakali discourse and was being schooled from every analytical angle of the discussion with stats evidence and facts.... it is unsurprising because she doesn't like being proven wrong.
She didn't want to face facts so she resorted to ad-hominem attacks. Very sour.

I mean, she so stubbornly wanted to not admit that "okay I was wrong about the excessive backpasses" talk when saw the stats evidence. And it's not surprising to me because I know she does has a problem of cognitive dissonance at certain levels.

When one is fixed on a belief or view, one will do everything or anything to fight against what will contradict it no matter how valid that "contradictory" view is.

Well, thing is I don't regret being kind & cool to people like her even though I know they may suffer amnesia sometimes. Nice guys like us, get laughed at all the time but in the end, we always laugh best. Lol

Recall that this is not the first time she has gone off the rails on me in this thread. So it's cool Odenigbo. It's cool.

Let her keep making a fool of herself even joining hands with some fool she doesn't even know to make hilarious off-tangent jabs at my person.

It's the Internet man. You cannot avoid getting jumped on by folks here. All you can do is ignore them and let their foolishness reign supreme and when they are done entertaining the MOB. You just get on with business as usual.

Now it's ironic, I am tell you this because you also have to learn in relation to your rife with Charles. But it's okay, I will ignore that.

But I am telling you this with the mind that a few will read it just so they can understand that being nice to people doesn't guarantee anything. But be nice all the same because people will always be people. We overlook and we move on with life.

She knows she f**ked up but I will leave her to her conscience if she has one. If she has none, well, still not my problem. wink

And guess what Odenigbo, I have known her for longer than I have known Osimhen. Osimhen and I began our relationship back in 2019 on Christmas day when he sent me a follow on twitter.

I thought it was a mistake but he said it was intentional and that he's been keeping watch on me for a little while. He was at Lille then. And that was how we got talking.
I remember I even predicted a record transfer fee move for him and told him he just has to keep on working like he has never before.

You have no idea how happy I was seeing my own words come to pass. Man, in two yrs I've formed a great friendship with a guy I am yet to see face to face (that's due to how tight both our schedules are).
Even when the issue of racism fears came up during the time he was preparing to sign for Napoli, I had a strong talk with him. I even reminded him of Weah. So many things I said... he took it well and took that bold step to seal the deal.

So it's interesting that someone I have known for 2 yrs plus has seen us bond more than one I have known since 2015 in here (haven't met her face to face physivally though) who would not mind turning on an attack on my person all because you were not faring well logically in an analytical discourse.

Pride is a good thing when held well. But it becomes bad when handled wrongly.

So that's it. A summary. Hope someone out there learns something. grin wink

Let's move on.

Nothing against her , but safari can be a little feisty sometimes. You both actually have something in common; you hate to be wrong...lol

I once called her Chimamanda Adichie! safari could be hot tempered , but the is also very intelligent.

Admittedly , I saw the initial post she made about on Nwakali after the match yesterday and thought it was not properly made. She literally wrote him of because she could pay closer attention....but I think she realized it and soft pedal so quickly....lmao.

Narcissistic personality disorder
— one of several types of personality disorders — is a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism

This Salone side has been preparing for this AFCON long before other teams even released their names. They started camping with strictly home based since November and we chopping and replacing players.

You have to give it to them, they came prepared and aren't push over.

And you make me laugh saying Forgiveness was balanced. He wasn't!!! He lied about where our goals came from. He credited the midfield. And it was all a lie.

Oga Kog dey talk true abeg. What was balanced in what Egbon Forgiveness said? We lost possession in the first half too much. We couldn't string good sequences of plays in the middle unlike what we saw when Nwakali stepped in. That is the truth. Passing recycling was important yet your egbon said it wasn't.

Possession dropped to 55-45 before Nwakali stepped in and he brought it back up to 58-42 after his introduction with the way he conducted our Middle plays.

Let us be honest in this thread abeg.

Even you seeing everything concluded it is Pro Aribo vs Pro Nwakali. Na wa.

Lied we were playing through the tight spaces and as a result got a free kick and a throw in that resulted to goals, right?

Through the same passes through the tight spaces we created goals that were either saved by the keeper or hit the goal post, na lie?

My man, you are the obvious liar here.

Eguavoen instructed the players to move forward and play through tight spaces which led to many goal scoring chances but you are here trying to give a different and false narrative to what actually happened.

Accusing and condemning the players for playing that way when it was actually how the coach wanted them to play.

You better pass Eguavoen?

But it is very easy for you to believe Nwakali and Iwobi played to the same instruction of the same coach that instructed those players to push forward, huh? Double standard. grin
