Rohr smiling at what these Sierra Leoneans are showing to Africa at the Afcon.

Rohr: I told you all those Freetown lads are bad! Bad boys, they are.

Ivory Coast goalkeeper is out

They have used up all their substitutions, so Serge Aurier gets to complete the game in goal

If Algeria beat Equatorial Guinea this evening.

Algeria vs Ivory Coast will be war.

Even then, Sierra Leone will have the easiest chance to top the group.

Match don end 2-2

Massive game and a great performance from Sierra Leone

They have managed to draw two top teams in Africa, 2 former African Champions in Algeria and Ivory Coast.

This is quite funny when you consider that some Ghanaians were defending their abysmal showing on the grounds of FIFA ranking

Nwakali will have over 2000+ mentions from this thread alone. Shuu.

He shouldn't be among top 5 most mentioned based on individual performance since tourney began. We even mention him more than Aribo that had back to back great games. This is why those of us that are on the other side are reacting that way. My own no reach hate sha. But abeg. On the Live match thread na Moses and Nacho dem mention pass.

We'll be fine. But let's guage it or increase the mention of actual and consistent performers abeg.

Why won’t he be the Most mentioned when some of them tend to hype him and talk down on a very good player like Aribo grin

Moses Simon Na Boss nah ,even after the good performance against Egypt some people here try talking down of him ,but after another sweet MOTM performance yesterday dem don hide their heads in shame grin

Where is that 12large guy self ?

This is why I said yesterday that he is not important enough for me to argue back and forth about.

The only names we should be talking about on this thread at this time, are either those that did very well, or those who were woeful.

He falls on neither spectrum, but when someone is a fave on this thread, they tend to be spoken about extensively, so, no qualms.

That's why i pray we do better. One would come here and think he's our Messi or Lewandoski or Benzema or Bruno Fernandes, KDB. Make we take am jeje. Potential? Yes. Performer? Not Yet.

We go dey alright.

Please, I just saw the first goal CIV Scored

Why Kamara run comot from him net abeg? He literally stepped aside to allow Haller score

The way Haller was positioned with the ball centrally, he could score in either corner. It was basically an in-game penalty. Kamara chose right, Haller went left.

This was my greatest fear. Skysports started the competition with one commentator then increased their budget to two per game.

Seeing the high coverage this year, I was hoping it wouldn't flop.

Thank you Learned one.

Like I say, I try. I'm human too. I do have my biases but I try as much as I can to give balanced analyses.

But you see this bolded.... grin

I will NEVER DROP IT. I practically coined it and use it every now and then on Victor in our convos only because I want to always remind him. Always put it in his face that he can be more than people want him to be. I want him to know his expectations for himself should always exceed the people's expectations for him.

So it's highly delibetate and it's borne from a place of Belief and Friendship. I madly believe in the Lad and he knows this strongly.

I have my own world. My own life. I have successes to my name that I don't have to mention but I still hold further higher ambitions and I am riding the waves to the very top. But you see... I am happy as well when I see our football lads also soar because I derive some good amount of Joy from seeing our national football team excel. This is all there is to it..... when they are happy and focused... then the reality of Nigerian football fulfilling potential draws nearer than ever.

Osimhen is a masterpiece key in this current Naija generation. There is purpose for our crossing paths.

So please, endure or tolerate more chants of Monster Machine and Osimhen The Lion in subsequent days, weeks and months to come.
I have no problems with that high aspiration. That is what we want all our players to be:excellent, monster machines, beasts, all the high words.

E be like say Sierra Leone want to come and do a Zambia 2012 on us ooo, those guys are playing knock out stage football.
If Alg and CIV couldn't beat them, meeehnn I don't see who can beat them oo
maybe Nigeria, Cameroon, Morocco.... furthermore any team that will beat them should get ready for 120mins football and possibly penalty shootout...those guys look like a Semifinal material

It's a disguise shot.

Haller looked at the goalkeeper's right, at 22, Kamara went with the eyes.

What he should have done is close down the angle immediately the ball left Zaha's foot.
