Yes , a national hero because he captained the U17 to world glory.....do you have comprehension or memory loss?

What does that have to do with the Afcon that we are playing?

No be bad thing if we collect the other little things join along with the cup na
Beside, being highest goal scorer in AFCON will boost a player's value in the market

And here you are disrespecting Musa.. A player that has been dedicated to his country.. Our most accomplished goal scorer in the highest global competition. Stripped of captainship but he stayed dedicated.

Or is Musa not a national hero? Maybe you might tell us U17 world cup is bigger than AFCON..

Even Kelechi Nwakili go dey laugh "National Hero" tagged wetin we go call Nduka Ugbade...this our thread sometimes eh na cruise o.......I know Kelechi Nwakili will be praising almighty God and thanking Austin Eguavoen for this lifeline which I know the young man will not allow it to slip.

In which market?

Depends on the player.

It barely helped Emenike or Wakasso in 2013, and it will not do much for Aboubakar

I was arguing with two less informed individuals on Twitter who claimed the AFCON is disappointing and of bad quality

You can tell who is watching AFCON games this year, and who is waiting for SkySports and their WhatsApp friends to upload 1 minute embarrassing clips.

Is the SE playing the same pattern as Barcelona did in that video? Yes or no?

Can't you answer the question or you have not watched the Super Eagles play lately?

Seriously ehn in voting for the best forward the first consideration for many is the performance of a player in the GWG.

Try say people should vote Nigeria's all time best forward and you'd see people voting Rashidi ahead of Obafemi Martins even though overall Martins has more career goals than Rashidi but for most people, it is performance in the GWG that matters.

In fact, for this particular award, performance in the GWG is the first criteria to be considered.. Forgiveness is very much aware of this because he was once part of the nomination committee..I don't get what his complaints are for...

Well Skysports is hellbent on displaying the gaffes and the scandals of the tournament instead of the play itself

Rooney celebrated at the league boxing the air. When are we Africans stop caring about what other people think about us? It's almost as if you guys have lost hope of having a mind of your own. Africa's image indeed Image judge based on European benchmark.

Are you trying to compare boxing in the air and holding a gun to the face and covering the mouth, do they hold the same moral implications to you, what is bad is bad stop trying to justify bad behavior

Nwakali is a Nigerian and deserved preferential treatment just like the English give their home grown players preference. If you place Nwakali and Iwobi in England for selection , no matter how talented Nwakali is as long as he is not English he will never be considered.

In the U.S. if you are born in a place not a province of U.S you will never become President be you white or black. Its very annoying how we scramble for English leftovers and worship players the English considered inferior. If I have my way we will only take foreign players playing in the top 5 League in Europe. The English doesn't have better talent pool than us.

This disgraceful inferior mindset is why we hired a crappy coach and people were drinking his pee on this thread because he is White man and Africans are so senseless they thought whites were gods.

Now , we have a Nigerian coach who slavish negroes on this thread condemned before he resumed his work but look what has happened!!

Nwakali:he captained the the team to world glory and brought joy and happiness to our soul. Won the MVP and brought the cup home. Thats a hero , init ?

Moses Simon's fine form at AFCON shows that if a player is doing consistently well at club level, he needs to be always considered no matter how badly he's performing at international level.

Onuachu needs to be given close monitoring.
