LLiKYekoba:
Tinubu keeps tightening the noose on the neck of lagos passengers.

NURTW dey collect N3,000 per driver everyday with their multiple tickets, at every bus stops.

RTEAN dey collect 2,500 per day.

Unoffocial agberoes dey collect N1,500 per day.

Now Lagos Government don bring their own #800 per day and Oluomo don talk say that #800 no concern dem o. Say una must continue other NURTW and Owomida levies.

That na N7,800 per day wey buses they pay. Bus drivers no send una, na to raise their own charge, transfer the bill on top passenger head. So na passengers like helinues, seunmsg, legendhero and their family members go still pay. grin

Una say thienubu wan be president? For this nigeria abi for him village in Iragbiji?

dey lie small small in your exaggerations na

Na Lagos state go fund tinubu campaign. Chai

NURTW Chairman, Lagos chapter, Alhaji Akinsanya, while clarifying the issue, stated that the N800 would not cover the levy collected by the ‘agberos,’ saying it only affected the taxes and other charges being collected by the state government.

According to him, “I want to make it clear that the N800 daily levy only covers all the money collected by the MDAs; it does not affect NURTW ticket.”

LMAO. This is fraud now.

I told people nothing genius is being done in Lagos except controversial and shady multiple taxes to generate revenue and loot.

I wanted to react negatively just like others but I noticed something. I didn't see the drivers' representatives at the meeting complaining. That means given the various smaller multiple amounts they were paying before, this harmonised version must be a better deal for them.

Interesting.

Meanwhile MC Oluomo has emphatically clarified that it will not stop collecton of NURTW fees.

So more burden for the average Lagosian trying to survive.

By the way, Lagos state is the run with so much opacity that nobody knows exactly what goes on with its finances year in year out.

And what happened to all the BRT buses Ambode imported in a bid to phase out rickety danfos from Lagos? They're still rotting away at the ports?

Only God can deliver that state from the chokehold of godfathers.

In what way?
Some of these transporters make more money than you as a salary earner or a small business enterprise. If government is collecting tax from you what is stopping them from transporter who benefit more on good good roads being maintained by state government.

I believe you comment negatively because of hatred for Tinubu

Another way to tax people. The bus drivers will in turn hike their fares. In the end its the stupid electorates and populace that will ultimately be fleeced.

Yet they wont support the destruction of what leeches on their very blood and destiny: One Nigeria... undecided

It's like government doesn't mind creating more problems for Nigerians so long as government makes more money.

At the end of the day, what you get is a richer government and a more miserable populace.

Don't ever forget that price does not come down in Nigeria. It only goes up.

Gradually, 20 Naira is becoming the lowest denomination in Nigeria. That's the definition of inflation

Are you in Nigeria?
Those in that meeting are those that have be filtered, they are the ones benefiting from the process. The common drivers in the streets will not be allowed into that meeting.
MC olumo clearly stated it that this #800 is different from NURTW dues.
It's well.

Good development. Instead of those lousy NURTW collecting dues and feeding fat on the liquidity of the public transportation system, the someone of the money should also go to the state government coffers.
Try and read the reports well before commenting
