HELLO
I have a 9 years study gap and I will be submitting my work reference, NYSC and my updated CV. I hope this will do for Visa application? Or should I wait till I will be asked to. I don't wanna overplay my cards because submitting my pay slips might complicate my application

Your Nysc and Work reference is enough to show employment proof. Don’t add pay slips or CV as they don’t recognize CV as employment proof. Submit it to because waiting to be asked might delay your application.

Submit all except your payslips. They don't need it. Please don't wait to be asked.

Have you sent a paid mail yet to know the status of your application since your biometrics was 29th?

Yes you can but Make sure she get there enroll, before she defers if not she will lose her sponsorship.
Edited : so this isn't really as straight forward as it may depend on her school to use their discretion to accept or refuse. It's a huge gamble to think they may accept for her to defer and still retain her visa sponsorship. I would suggest you write them and ask them directly so you know what arrangements you are making.

Thanks, Bianca. I appreciate your efforts.

1. If the visa comes out after your school's enrolment/arrival date and you've not enrolled or arrived by then, you most likely won't be allowed on the course. Speak to your school, they're your best bet for answers and dates.
2. If the above happens, you will be turned back at the POE if you try to use your visa except you've have your school's approval (in writing) to arrive after the set date. You just keep it, can't be returned once given.
3. If you defer, you'll need a new CAS to make a new application for the session you defer to. You'll also need to register your biometrics again.
@mimilyrics just know how to assist and give advise in a matured way. God bless you! Keep it up

If only all these ECO's would just stick to the point base system non of these delays would be experienced. The introduction of evidence for this and that, compiled with the high volume of application, and the battle with the pandemic, all are putting so much pressure on a system that was well designed to prevent such delays. See applications submitted since the 10th, 15th and even 20th, have not gotten any update whatsoever because of all this complications. If the point base system can only be applied it will be easier for them 50 point for CAS, 10point for POF (verify if needed), 10point for English proficiency, finish!. But no, we need evidence for this and that, if such is important then add it as a compulsory prerequisite for applicants with this number of years or marriage add this and that, that way you sort through applications quick and fast. Some of us now will probably miss our date of enrollment not because we submitted late, but because ECO's have decided to complicate a simple process. Time matters! It will all end in praise.

Your submissions are not entirely correct though, the PBS is the minimum requirement and not the only requirement for the issuance of visa. I have attached a Guidance for how UK Visas and Immigration considers applications from people to enter or remain in the UK as students. The have to follow laid down procedures. I can understand your frustration in regards time delay but they laid down all the procedures as it should be. Find time to read the document, self explanatory on the process .

Thanks a bunch, Mimi. Any idea about the number of months of pregnancy that would be allowed to board a plane? She’s going to be due 1st or 2nd week of September but we plan going ending of August.
Any advice?

Yes you can to avoid NSF. Sha don’t put payslips so you won’t complicate things for yourself... And if you know you can’t defend the salary on your employment letter then better don’t submit it.

it has to be paid before u leave Nigeria. U need the invoice/reference number to complete the passenger l. Without it dnt bother travelling if you are unvaccinated.
Before you travel to England – not fully vaccinated
Before you travel to England you must:
take a COVID-19 test – to be taken in the 2 days before you travel to England
book and pay for day 2 and day 8 COVID-19 PCR tests – to be taken after arrival in England
complete a passenger locator form – to be completed in the 48 hours before you arrive in England

When you arrive in England – not fully vaccinated
After you arrive in England you must:

quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 full days
take your COVID-19 PCR tests – you must book these tests before you travel
You must take the first test on or before day 2 and the second test on or after day 8. The day you arrive is day 0.

If you are in England for less than 10 days, you need to quarantine for the time you are here. You need to book day 2 and day 8 PCR tests. You only need to take the tests if you are still in England on those days.

Good evening everyone.

My course start date is 17th that’s for induction but classes start 24th. I plan on traveling on the 27th because of the timing of me getting my passport back though. My schools last day of enrollment is 4th of February and can extend to 18th of February for students with serious visa issue situations. Hope I won’t have any issues with the immigration when I’m traveling.

I have had this question on my mind, considering the fact that all visa outcomes are based on probabilities and all, is it even advisable to complete the enrolment before you get your visa - plus you’ll have to pay 50% upon enrolment. Will all your money be refunded if your visa was delayed and you didn’t get through the POE? What would happen to the 50% and deposit that has been paid

Any answer??
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 6 by Question1: 8:49pm On Jan 18, 2022
I genuinely think schools should be kind enough to extend the enrolment date for students with visa delays - I mean it’s a win-win scenario for both the student and the school
