They previously had to pay taxes to every local government that they passed through (which could add up to ₦3,000 per day) . Now they will only need to pay tax to one local government per day and that's just ₦800 per day.

My route from Iyana-Ipaja to Ayobo, they only pay loading fee at Iyana-Ipaja and any other fee at the garage and that's all, till they get to Ayobo, except some I've noticed that pay at Church busstop, meaning they don't pay at Alimosho LGA, they don't pay at Mosan, and they don't pay at Ipaja-Ayobo

My major concern is the effontery Oluomo has to say that the dues does not affect the money NURTW collects, when he knows the amount being paid to NURTW officials is actually the major reason for complains by drivers... You'll see them along Yaba road, close to Jibowu chasing buses as if they're running 100m Olympic race
