Italy went on a 37 match unbeaten run winning the euros during the way but has it ever occured to you that on no occasion during this unbeaten run were they ranked 1st. Besides you said unbeaten run not winning run.if we look at it sef. The draw to win ratio there might even be equal

Italy was competing against France and Belgium, Algeria was competing against Senegal, Nigeria and Morocco know the difference

well said. Comoros counter-attack is superb. Ejuke and Chukueze need to watch this match and understand counter attack is to score not show skills

The beauty of AFCON is that it is no respecter of salaries

Nobody sabi who be world best for AFCON

This is what makes it one of the greatest tournaments in world football for me; the unpredictability of it all.

This is not Euros that everyone knows which teams will qualify from group stage, it is not Copa America that you know Brazil and Argentina don sure

If you know how many tickets don cut since this tournament start, more people will respect this AFCON.

A proper leveler

Copa America dem no plenty and dem no get respect for that side self

And you are right about afcon

Who has seen the video? Coz I have and even Iheanacho looked so shocked. grin

Lol. I saw the video. Pinnick is a very religious man. If Iheanacho likes, he should goan become his prayer partner. It will not give him any automatic ticket to the World cup. grin

Nigeria university games(NUGA).During this games best athletes were picked for world university games...I remember my two senior bro were picked for world university games in United States, four friends were picked for the same games hosted by Japan, also six for Italy games in 1997.

Instead of disturbing yourself with under age teams, you can make it through NUGA games and make your academic priority.....cos the ex players with certificates are doing well after retirement even than some ex internationals.

Thanks brother

Samuel kalu is badly underrated. Watch Nigeria vs south Africa 2019 nation's cup qualifier to understand what a fine winger/wing back he is

Secondly ighalo is the player that kindled Watford interest in Nigerian players. In fact, ant club owned by the pozzo family will be interested in Nigerian players and that includes udinese and Granada. Maybe Watford can start a football academy in Nigeria

Burkina Faso vs Gabon will be a spectacle!

We beat Malawi, we meet either of the above! No easy game at AFCON!

What a tournament!

That's how it's likely to play out.

LOL

Dem invite one Ghanaian former U-20 Champion, David, to come talk for the Space, first off, he sounded as if he just finished drinking 4 bottles of Orijin, the next thing, he started complaining about why they would allow Westerners speak on the Space (there was one oyibo UK guy that had spoken before, and that one finished Ghana)

Na so the host interject come tell the David say anybody is allowed to speak, after all, they allowed SA people to come up and gloat. David wan dey argue say make dem keep their shame away from Westerners, na so the host just do closing prayer for the space.

Best looser to come from A, B, E and F.
If a best loser emerges from B, that's our opponent

Nope.

Only way we are getting Best loser from B is if there is a best loser from A,B,C,D.

So, if Nigeria beats Guinea Bissau, we are not getting best loser from B

There has been long History of our local coaches and the NFF pursuing agendas based on conflicting interests.

It's beggars belief that Onyeka is not starting.

It makes no rational sense that Nwakali will be benching Onyeka because he is the only one that can do long ball.

Nigeria we hail thee
I hate comments like this, we all watched the euros where Sancho and Grealish barely had game time despite their fine showing last season. It all comes down to coach’s personal choices no be about ‘Nigeria we hail thee’

I really feel bad for him, because when you imagine how much he made Sammy Kuffour smile in that Supersports studio in 2010 as a player, it just doesn't seem right that he has to suffer this pain as a pundit.

These boys no try for am at all. And then they said the last time Ghana failed to qualify from group stage, he didn't play that game because he was injured.
