Ideally all Nigerians should be compel to pay TV tax that would partly be use to finance NTA. But that's not the case. I know there's also the issue of bad management. But if not enough money is pump into the govt station, then they can't get updated equipment.

Yet Lai Mohammed as Minister for Information proposed to invest $500 million in NTA. How much did other private stations spend to have better quality pictures and signals. I have argued, Federal Government of Nigeria has absolutely no business running any thing that can be classified a business.

Firms owned and managed by the government of Nigeria can not be compared to those owned and managed by private individuals.

Isa pantami the communication and digital economy minister the Boko Haram/Taliban Terrorist has spent NTA maintenance money on Boko Haram Terrorists abroad trips and skill acquisitions, bandits arms and bought thousands of sows (female pigs) for Islamic sexual pleasure so you don't expect anything good from NTA or any other Nigerian communication facilities
