The way pages on Twitter are using Maduka Okoye tax to gather likes, it would be disgusting if I wasn't just a proud Nigerian that wants to see Nigeria get praise on every front

Goal posted this picture of him in this kit and used it to praise Nigeria's kit, as at today, it has over 52k likes. No post on their page has as much engagements, because fine boy Maduka dey pull in likes.

When others dey do am, I just knew it was for engagements, but for a page as big as Goal to be riding on Maduka tax, is something else.

Someone said he wan use AFCON launch modelling career....anyway, right now, if you want your tweet to blow, post Maduka Okoye

Colin Udoh open Twitter spaces by 2am, see European journalists and popular pundits hoping on cos the topic was Super Eagles. I won't lie, the team, thr supporters club, the Nigerian journalists at Cameroun, all are attractive and unable to ignore right now. That Eguavoen's handle growth alone..... Mehn... cool grin

Goal Africa get sense.

Many tweeps had to actually call out the Super Eagles handle before they woke up and realised dem dey dull. Their engagements now from just the ladies alone is massive.

The Super Eagles is truly the biggest football brand in Africa.

E remain that NFF post. When ex footballer finally get there, one can't imagine the force it would generate from Sports Investors around the world. Eto'o alone is clear for all to see. We'll get there soon.

Caf are excellently grateful and happy, alongside the Camerounians for the publicity Nigeria brings.

Sir , could you post match day stats of Nwakali , Ndidi and Onyeka. Thanks

I see people are trying to downplay Nwakali's excellent performance with ...."he is a good passer he is not physical and Aribo is what we need"

Post Aribo's last match stats and post Nwakali's let's see who should be sitting on the bench.
Deep down you know who should be sitting on the bench between those two

It's possible someone might have already written this. I noticed that when Onyekuru came in, we changed our formation to a 4-3-3 with Iwobi moving to the middle to join Onyeka an Ndidi. So I think there's a chance depending on the opposition that we could play with a 4-3-3. Although I think Maduka, Ekong, Ndidi, Iheanacho are the so called spine of the team for now.
Hopefully we no go jam bad luck in the knockout phases. A team can play well and have a zillion things go against them, loss of concentration, sani keita phenomenon, wrong referee decisions, Yakubu moments etc. God no go shame us.

Sadiq vs Olayinka is a dilemma.

For the running Olayinka does, he lacks opening, which can be sorted out in training.

Sadiq has a huge presence but his ball-playing decisions can get you worried.

However, he is also a hard worker, has a huge presence. You can not miss him on the field. But, boy does he have a poor left foot.

Olayinka did not have the room to really show what he offers offensively.
Olayinka is not a striker he is a winger! I don't know why peeps are clamoring for him to lead the line. Sadiq has great positioning and good ball control. He will get better with time.

It seems as long as Nwakali plays, it doesn't matter if Nigeria loses, the only thing that matters to you is seeing Nwakali, that's all. Na super Eagles fans we suppose be, whether Aribo, Nwakali, Onyeka anyone of them so long as we get results.

Wasn't turned away.

Wasn't ball to hand, look at the distance ball travelled before hitting his arm. How can you call a free-kick for a player that wasn't in the wall "ball to hand"?

Arm wasn't tucked to body. In an unnatural position.

The arm deflected a goal-bound shot.
If not for that deflection, that ball was goal bound.
Uzoh was already down even before the ball slide through the bar.

Eguavoen has converted Olayinka to CF due to non availability of Ighalo Odion, against GB we saw Moses on left and Oyekuru on the right with Iwobi joining Ndidi and Oyenka in the middle.

Awoniyi and Sadiq still the best options but Olayinka can steal the show.

Your tears has dried after Comoros walloped you. It's not over yet. The draw in two days time will pit Nigeria against Ghana.

When I made this prediction and got it right, I didn't imagine for even a second that Ghana would win Nigeria.

Yes, Nigeria has really given this AFCON some publicity, in terms of good football. Perhaps, one of the more serious teams, because the tournament has been associated with clownery more than good, decent flowing ball.

Nigeria has really stood out, and you can see that even with the engagements CAF gets especially on Twitter, if not that they want to die by Mo Salah hype, Nigeria is literally there for all the marketing. Use the population, use the online presence, use the diaspora presence, use the beautiful kits, the beautiful football, the beautiful players.

If I were in the Publicity committee of AFCON, na Nigeria I go just dey use for engagements and publicity, because nobody has quite as much clout
