Elliotwaveforec:/ If the level you noted is the support, how come you didn't factor in the possibility of a Head and Shoulder formation? You started out well and ended up talking like a novice. In any market, you have to be open to all possibilities. Let's assume you are using Elliot Wave analysis, can't you see the 5 waves completed? A better probability long-term is an a-b-c correction long-term that will go below $29k before the $100k comes into play in a supercycle. / |

InvertedHammer:After completion of the 5 waves, where does the ABC correction end? From the chart, 28316 is the bottom of wave 4 and that's where a reversal is likely for trend continuation; any break signals trend reversal. I don't do heads and shoulders |

Bignuell:Thank you! That's my conclusion too. A rejection is expected at 28318; then we move up. If it breaks it, down down down. |

InvertedHammer:From your myopic analysis: Let me even lecture you on your Head and Shoulders a bit. I just read about it and I learnt a lot. H and S has not even formed because the second shoulder has not formed yet; it's just created a projected Left shoulder, Head and Neckline without the Right Shoulder; therefore, all the components haven't yet fallen into place meaning there's no H and S in the first place. The bigger picture, H and S hasn't even formed; The projected left shoulder is marked by the red line @ 64890; the projected Head is marked by the black line @ 69030; and the projected Right Shoulder can only form when price breaks the blue line @ 28318 even if it's by 1 pip as the other component of the Projected Neckline; then move ahead to form the Right Shoulder below the red line @ 64890. Summary, 28318 is the pivot that tells whether the bullish trend continues or not. Next time be polite and don't be emotional as a trader; be ready to learn more, it would help you. Thanks anyway for forcing me to learn about H and S.

Elliotwaveforec:That was my thought too but 2014 & 2018 move is set to take place. I think BTC is heading to $11k. 2022 is a bearish year according to the algorithm. Let's see how it plays out. |

light099:Actually it fell from 69K in November to now 35K - which hard currencies never do. BUT Saying the price of bitcoin will not eventually go up because bitcoin is backed by nothing, is like saying the price of a Picasso painting will not keep going up because it is a stupid drawing that took him less than an hour to make! |
Re: Bloodbath: 185,450 Crypto Investors Lose All Their Funds As Bitcoin Drops To $38 by Elliotwaveforec: 3:22am On Jan 23, 2022 |
kumulus:There's no certainty in this market, wee are all speculating. My prediction is purely based on price action. The du0ort 28318 remains the pivot, if respected, it move up; if breached, it retraces the peak and then crashes. I don't know about those jargons you put up there, I keep it simple and straight; price Action purely. |
Re: Bloodbath: 185,450 Crypto Investors Lose All Their Funds As Bitcoin Drops To $38 by Nobody: 11:08am On Jan 23, 2022 |
CanadaOrBust: Well, if it can spike up, then it can also dip. Hard currencies are stable but Crypto currencies are volatile. Isn't that why y'all invest because you can get insane ROI within a short time? So, it isn't abnormal if the market does otherwise. Liquidity, daily volume, centralization, events and other determining factors are different in Crypto/Hard currencies. The only thing constant to all currencies is rise/fall. And this is what matters. Moreover, assuming Pound could ever rise to $40k, then it can also dip to $25k. The exchange ratio determines the volatility rate. Hard currencies have tiny exchange ratio, so volatility is also tiny. As for Picasso, his paintings would keep going up as long as the children of Adam think it's cool to overvalue some less important things. It's all part of the imbalances, misplaced priorities and low sense of what is right/appropriate/worthy/good, which made human beings what they are. |

light099: I bet the inventors of bitcoin never envisioned it being worth more that $1 or so, hence the name: bitcoin. Otherwise they’ll have named it Super Duper Mega Currency . How did bitcoin come to be worth thousands??!! Same reason a quick pencil drawing by Picasso is worth millions I guess! |
Re: Bloodbath: 185,450 Crypto Investors Lose All Their Funds As Bitcoin Drops To $38 by Nobody: 7:36pm On Jan 23, 2022 |
CanadaOrBust: Lol, but they're two different things. Bitcoin worths $thousand because it removed big challenges as regards centralization, anonymity, digitization and ease of transfer worldwide. Then, it is mined with resources. If Satoshi appeared and gave you 1 Bitcoin worth just $35k, while Picasso appeared and gave you one of his unknown paintings worth $millions as you claimed. While you can immediately start spending your 1Bitcoin, your so called $million painting is forever useless, since there isn't a way to prove Pissaco did it. This shows that ordinarily a Picasso painting is useless, it's only valued same way, toxic ladies come out of BBN and immediately turn valuable, wealthy celebrities overnight. |
