The least important thing in Nigeria at the moment is human life, the level of wickedness in the country is only second to that of the devil, common travelling is like passing through hell, yet the citizens and the leaders are majorly concerned about 2023 election. |

You will continue experiencing kidnappings because your government don't care. Instead of you people to hold your government officials accountable, many of you stay here on Nairaland fighting over whose tribe is more superior while fulani herdsmen AKA bandits AKA terrorist continue to kidnap and kill you people and sell your organs to the highest bidder. SMH. |

Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is becoming like Kaduna- Abuja Expressway. Governors in the South West should sit up and tackle this menace rather than complaining to FG under President Buhari who may not even care a hoot about their security. |

Must they publicize their plans? We are all the time informed by the police and Amotekun on how they plan to operate inside the bushes and on the roads. Surely they cannot say that this is the first time that they have been hearing of such attacks by those miserable fellows. What we need to see are the results of their operations. The states and federal government have been having issues with state policing. As we can see, Amotekun has its hands full operating in the south west. The federal government clearly sees that the police force and other security agencies are far short in terms of staff. Why won’t they employ enough hands for the job or allow states have their own police personnel? It is very sickening to find our nation under siege by certain wicked persons, who have after getting arrested, informed us about their sponsors. It seems that kidnapping for money and killing for the fun of it have become permanent features of this country, especially in the northern parts. Since the sponsors are largely northern based, why not confine themselves there and leave us at peace here in the south? Unfortunately for innocent citizen our hands seem tied and we are not permitted to fight back in the face of this relentless attacks by these vampires of darkness. Just like Masari said, it is long overdue for the citizens to possess their own guns for self defense, even though we know that it has more disadvantages. Even at that, these hoodlums are seen to work in cooperation with certain security officials, who disarm citizens and allow their evil friends operate smoothly. As I have always maintained, this nation is long overdue to break up into smaller nations. Why would the greedy politicians continue to deceive themselves when the reality of our inability to live peacefully as a nation continues to stare everyone in their faces? Are they waiting until there is a complete war? Please let the needful be done and if the so called herdsmen, who have successfully transmuted into serial murderers and kidnappers, venture into other peoples countries, they would be easily checkmated as it was done in Ghana and Benin republic. |

This is too bad mehn, instead of the government to clear out the kidnapping rings now, they are busy playing 2023 politics. |

No place is safe. I read the miscreants are immigrants from Mali, Niger and Chad. This is a result of neglect and porous borders. |
