Regarding CRS of above 500, my take is that, Yes, definitely the score would be above 500 when they finally decide to resume all programme draws. But the flactuation of the scores would be based on the CRS distribution table. With the current distribution of the table, four consecutive all programme draws With 4000 candidates invited, may crash the cut of to 478 range. Except they choose to be inviting 500-1000 candidates in each draw. That way the cut offs will remain high for months.
Well for now the dream is shaking, but let's still have a little faith.

I believe that, that document was an internal memo that was brought out in Nov 21.

I hear that immigration announcement would be made Feb 16. Let’s wait till then to know the status of things and be hopeful. There’s nothing GOD can’t do. The tide can move in our favour.

Height/eye colour......do as you please but make it legible.....one would think typed would be ideal.

I think we should all wait till February 8, no need of panicking. Canada also won't want to lose Skilled workers, because if People lose interest in their country, other countries may rise up and divert the attention of immigrants from Canada and I don't think Canada with less than 40 million population and a big land mass will want to miss the opportunity of being the top destination for immigrants globally. So everyone, let's relax, next FSW draw can even start from CRS 471

The Canadian minister of immigration has not yet announced immigration levels for 2022. The memo is an internal memo with recommendations from last year, but with that in mind the memo and the prime ministers mandate make it clear that this year is a year for temporary residents in Canada.

Yeah, I want them to clear backlogs because as long as those backlogs remains, the resumption of draws may be shaky or skeletal. Either ways, it's not favourable for everyone.

Lol who is chasing you? I agree with him though, spending all your money relocating to a country that might end up not giving you PR is terrible. High bp will set in when your visa is about to expire. I think the UK people should have a plan B. In the past 2 years, Canada has gone from a solid plan A to a shaky plan B. I envy the people that applied earlier and got PR in 2-6 months.

That shouldn’t be an issue though. All you have to do is prepare. Few months to when your visa in the UK will expire, it’s either you extend your contract with your current company for the next year or start applying for a new job that will sponsor you for the next year, then after 5 years you can apply for PR or once you have a year of work experience in the UK, you can start applying to other Countries with easy PR application.

Please, what's your take on candidates in the pool awaiting provincial nomination? I've been in the pool since August 2021 and my CRS score is below 400.

Now I'm tempted to abandon the process given the huge backlog and slow processing.
