both home and away is mercilessly. I do not care about the scoreline. Like I said as long as we play with the mentality I am seeing currently it's gonna be perfectly fine.

Haaaa Joebie, I can see that you have totally fallen under the spell of our current strong performance.

I do not think we would beat them mercilessly oo. I do hope we win them and qualify.

Yours is based purely in your affinity to Nigeria. Mine is based on what I see on ground.

It's quite funny that guys who were skeptical about the team are now believers. I have no doubt that we will win. There has been no time I have ever doubted this team. I just feel for my Ghanaian brothers!!

So you believe Ghana will stop us from going to the WC. They did that against SA through controversial means it won't happen again controversially.

We got the second easiest team to play, Ghana.

I love this draw. Mali will get to go to the World Cup for the first time, this generation deserve it.

Senegal and Algeria will have to prove why they are the best two teams in Africa currently, it is a wake-up call for both.

Morocco are also doing well for themselves, they will represent Africa well.

For us, well everyone knows we always go to world cups. If Eguavoen is at the helm, forget it. We will beat them home and away especially with the crisis they have right now. Forget all those talk of Ghana always play good against us, that’s not how football works nowadays. In our times, the team with the better tactics and/or better players win, we have both.
Osihmen go dey. That one self na moral. Who Ghana won defend? Osihmen? Moses Simon? Iheanacho? Chukwueze? Them go collect no way, no how.

Nobody is scared.

It is called not being too confident. Many of you here are too overly confident. And thats not good. I am a very confident person and I preach it to others to be confident. But the way I see it here is dangerous. It means under-estimating and underrating your opponents.

Doing this will make your opponents take you unawares where you least expected. Go and ask Anthony Joshua vs the fat kid who beat him mercilessly.

Always respect your opponents and STRATEGIZE your victory. Not to be overly confident.

If we STRATEGIZE well, and not depend on depth of our team alone like you're all saying here, we'll win. But if we ignore strategy and just say we have a good team, we are better, we are in form. Guess what? They will STRATEGIZE and take us unawares.

Nobody is scared. It is simply acknowledging your opponents strenght from history. And he who faiks to learn from histry, will repest the same mistake his fore fathers made.

Cheers.

Our efforts remain focused inside the country.

That is how we will build a superior pool of players

Your statement above verbatim, which I responded to is blatantly prejudiced, biased and bigoted.

That's your concept of fair play and a merit based system.

Iwobi got into the SE before he had played one game for Arsenal first team, I guess his Uncle JJay,may be a factor.

Nonetheless, in the HERE and NOW he merits his position in the team alongside Ighalo, Ekong, Okoye, Ebuehi, and Onyeka.

Our focus in scouting and harnessing hidden gems should stay focused in the country. We will not find the likes of Sam Edozie and Tai Sodje better than the European academies and system.

Not all of them will play for their host countries. Those that are free can opt to play for Nigeria. The door is not closed to them.

However, the NFF will need to continue a road map of harnessing as much quality talents in our local scene.

That is how we build a big pool of exceptional talents.

Finito.

Like I have said as long as Eguavoen and the players continue with the mentality we are seeing on ground, Ghana will lose both ties.

I have followed Ghana/Nigeria match for long. And this is the reality. Nor be the over confident im seeing here. Ghana, even if its their 3rd strings team, once they hear Nigeria their prick go raise and they want to kill, or be killed.
Baba this is not the days of Essien and Asamoah Gyan. Their main strikers are Jordan and Andre Ayew, who else? These boys go collect abeg.

Iwobi was hot property. With or without his uncle. Such a player with race reviews from English football would attract attention.

I acknowledge that they're very very weak now. But football is a game where one minute, one seconds, one red card, one penalty, one error, can change a game's outcome.

On paper we will beat them like kids. And I pray that becomes the reality in the field of play.

well, even Comoros beat Ghana. C.A.R beat Nigeria.. Anything can happen in life. But we are talking purely on what we see on ground. The present reality. We could have drawn a different team and anything could have still happened. The point here is Ghana is such a weak and whack team. We are playing the team. And we will play for pride as well.

I would like to believe you, especially cos the Ghananian grin team is far behind in talent depth. But history shouldn't be dismissed, as someone mentioned. When Ghanaians match up against us they take it very seriously. Do not dismiss sheer will, even when you are far talented.
