Tinubu won’t apologize for that statement because he still holds that view.

And not just holding the view, he has been putting his words to action since 2015.

Since 2015 Tinubu has had nothing to do with anybody or anything concerning Southeast and Southsouth.

IPOB/ESN/UGM menace o...

Niger Delta Avengers o...

Tinubu has never issued any statement or given 10 kobo to victims.

But not so with the north...

Tinubu is always caring about the north. If there’s any fire incident he will rush and donate millions.

If a northerner loses his cat, Tinubu will go for condolence visit.

In his own map of Nigeria, there’s only North and Southwest.

So, why would you ask him to apologize when he still holds the view and putting it into action?

Aman that when he was governor appointed Igbo in his cabinet, like you don't know what you are talking about

This Saleh guy is mad...if Buhari was made to account for some of his statements before he was elected president, he wouldn't have been given any chance atall. This is a statement made in 1997; 25years ago. What was the prevailing circumstances around that time that made him to make such statement? People change, also views change. Atleast we are all aware that even as at 1957, the northern leaders led by Tafawa Balewa were opposed to the idea of independence for this country. Who later became the major beneficiary of our independence? This is pure rubbish only fit for the trash bin.

Don't mind them, they just hate him for no reason. Like Tinubu is the worst thing to have ever happened to them after Biafra war. Hate him if you like, if God says he'll rule this country no man born of a woman can stop him!

I don't see anything wrong in tinubu becoming the next Nigeria president. He has worked for it from day 1. He deserve to be given a chance simply. My thought though.

He believes in his myopic permutations that his ladder to Aso rock is his relationship with the north. He counts on Buhari and the likes of Ganduje to deliver 15 million votes from the north and the rest from the SW to achieve his goal. Meanwhile PMB may not find the strength to campaign anymore. Remember he talked of his remaining 17 months two weeks ago. APC lost the goodwill of Nigerians long ago.

The late Pius Okadigbo talked about “political arithmetic” and “reading the political barometer”. While he does that, other interested parties equally do it.

I know you are paid to tarnish Tinubu image.
You people did more than this to Buhari but he won his elections. You are only campaigning for him like this because some people will vote him because of the hatred you people have for him.

That Yoruba through Awolowo punished the
Easterners with hunger during the war ?!

That the lopsided appointment of Northerners in Nigeria project is unfair ?!

TINUBU shouldn't massage his ego on the foot print of saying he has helped the North, now is the turn for the North to help him......

The issue here is how many people benefited from Buhari administration from the North?

People in the North except FULANIs feel bittered and in agony having Buhari as President without any change or influence of development rather they face massive rape, killings, IDP camps etc......

So I ask again.....is this the President , Tinubu should be proud of and say he has given Northerners as their son for their safety when their houses are burning down per day

Can't we see that all these people called Politicians are after their own personal interest?

To Tinubu, he has paid his dues, and is now his turn to be elevated, but he has failed to ask himself this question: this dues I have paid , is it to the interest of Nigerians or is it to one man from the FULANI tribe?

Am not surprised an Hausa man went digging this up , he will be more surprised when he realises his defeat is from the North not even South South or South East his core enemy regions.....

Imagine the President.... imagine Tinubu.......

What an insult to Nigeria ........

No wahala.

But remember “you can fool the people sometimes but you can’t fool the people all the time”. People have seen the light. They will stand up to protect their rights and votes.

All promises cancelled (APC), yet the man last week started again “I PROMISE FREE WAEC”. Who wants to listen to fake promises anymore from people who frittered away the goodwill freely given to them in 2015. The wool on the eyes of the people has been pulled off and we all know that we were lied to in 2015.

Enough of those babas with the free coke and gala added with N200 notes to get votes and further impoverish the people.

There no need for that even if he said that. The question is where was Nigeria in 1997? The cancelled election, assassinations going on the insecurities at that time were enough to make him make such a comment. Araba is also a Hausa word that can relate to Tinubu's comment used by the July '66 coupists who felt they don't believe in one Nigeria.
hypocrisy is when you condemn Nnamdi Kanu for holding the same view about Nigeria.

The political leaders in Nigeria, always scheming to satisfy their personal interests. If all the inflammatory statements Buhari made didn't stop him from becoming the president, how would Tinunbu's own be different? He would soon make a statement on this, and in a week's time, this would be another past tense. Naija matter, we move.

Tinubu has absolutely nothing to offer this nation other than to fulfill his long time ambition of becoming the President

He shouldn't be given the mandate!

He should not be given by who ? Is the presidency anybody's property? Besides, Tinubu isn't looking to be given the presidency by default. Take that to the Southeast who like to reap without sewing. Tinubu has been working for it and he's still working hard for it. Buhari said worse thing than that in the past. The entire Southeast and their Hoanneze have said much worse things in recent time and they're still saying it and asking for the presidency. If he said so that time because of the eventul of that era, is he still acting it ? This Zazagugu has to tell us his own contributions to the development and stability of the current polity any level.
