I dey tell you bro. cheesy Same thing the argentines did in 1990..

Most peeps initially wrote off the Egyptians but dem dey QF now and I don't see Morocco stopping them..

Just like everything in life, it's not how you start a tournament, it's how you finish. Congrats to Tunisia and Egypt... A valuable lesson for Nigeria to emulate going forward.

And me I don’t see any team stopping Morocco

What salah cannot do for Egypt as a forward is what hakimi is doing for Morocco as a RB

Nigeria doesn't need to emulate any lesson.. poor goalkeeping caused Nigeria to crash out same way poor goalkeeping let Liverpool lose 2018 UCL..

The only thing S.E need is a quality goalkeeper and ensure Okoye becomes 4th choice goalkeeper until he improves...

Agreed 100%

We were just okay until badluck and that solo effect hung us to dry. Else we'll still be the talk of this afcon as the team to beat.

So far so good, except Cameroon, no othwr team looks like the team to beat. Not even Egypt.

You hit this one well

Poor goalkeeping made Liverpool lost that game against Madrid and same thing with naija against Tunisia .

Abeg Nigeria was the best team in this tournament, just unfortunate, meanwhile team like Tunisia and Egypt have just been fortunate....

Make una rest with north African team talk, the only north African team that has played well is Morocco, the rest have just been there, just lucky...

If world cup is ever coming to Africa, it's a west African team that will bring it, just that corruption in federation and caf will not let us do well...

It's sad how we just go to world to make up numbers, every time and same will probably happen this year again.

That loss was more a case of Eguavoen been tactically clueless.. The same way we effectively nullified Salah in our opening group stage match against Egypt, was the same way they marked out our most dangerous player..

I blame Eguavoen for not been smart enough to pull Simon out or switch him to another position while bringing in someone like Ejuke earlier on in the first half break to disrupt the "focus on Simon Moses" tactics of the Tunisians, he failed again in providing a balance in that midfield even when it was an obvious pattern right through the first half that Ndidi and Aribo were willfully crowded out by the Tunisians, given us no room to press forward...

A smart coach shouldn't have waited late into the second half when we were trailing by a goal to REACT, right on the hour mark of second half an intelligent coach should have already prepared subs and tweak his formation with Onyeka coming in to support Ndidi; thus nullifying the Tunisians in the midfield and give Aribo more luxury to press forward with Simon playing a more inverted role with special instructions to either of the full backs playing behind him to stretch out the flanks more by providing overlapping runs...

I no be coach, I no get UEFA coaching badge... But I have more IQ than most of these pretenders who call themselves coaches, any average coach with a brain would have beaten that Tunisian team, they were so poor that they were easily there for the taking...

Lastly; i for one don't think Okoye was responsible for our loss, however, he was responsible for the goal by Tunisia ...Those are 2 separate things..

Eguavoen is not tactically clueless..

It is not Eguavoen and Simon's fault that Chukwueze's wing was toothless, that's Chukwueze fault.

It is not Eguavoen, Ndidi and Aribo's fault that Ihenacho and Chukwueze did not track back and help the midfield and also track back to help the defense..

To lose a match, A goal has to be conceded, the goal the S.E conceded was due to goalkeeping error and since the goal was due to goalkeeping error then that means Okoye was responsible for our loss..

same way Edouard Mendy cleansheets last season helped Chelsea win the UCL..
same way donnarumma helped Italy win the Euros...

In fact, Now that I'm thinking about it, sometimes the difference between some teams is the quality of their goalkeepers and strikers but especially their goalkeepers..

I doubt you miss him more than me. The closest was Onyeka, a top performer that was made to sit the bench for virtually no reason whatsoever. That part irks and makes me outraged.

Its like saying Osaze is performing at WestBrom and then he comes to Afcon camp and then he is made to warm the bench cos of ..................(the gap has whatever excuse there is)

Well, we go dey alright. For now.

Agreed without question but with great discontent.

And running the tournament like sprint be will leave you well out of gas and ideas well before the finish line. That's essentially us.

No matter the amounts of clean sheets; if the strikers don't perform and the coaches do not have plan B, there won't be any trophy.

Tunisia was missing 12 players, had no coach, and was a team we should have easily beaten if Eguveon had a plan B..

CAR, Cape Verde and others have had success playing us by simply crowding us out and cutting off the wings. The thing that gets me is that it always seems impossible until it's actually done.

Bros, if luck and fortune will take me far in afcon, I will take it over nice play or tiki taka

Because at the end of the day, it's the result that matters

Yet same Chukwueze that was a bench warmer in Villarreal was starting matches despite glaring poor games. I mean we all saw how match rusty he was

Sentiments too played a part in why Naija no go far and I foresaw it

The day we start demanding more from our players in their respective clubs the better

A victor Moses would have done far better than Chukwueze in this afcon

Let me wait for wailers to come for me grin wink

I fear the north now ooo. Even before the penalty start, I knew Egypt will win. I think this north Africans have some superior mental toughness or whatever against western or black man in general. I don’t know, I just saying.

Seeing the match made me realize I’m not over the shock of the SE Exit. I fear the North now. They showed the replay the other day, if you see the speed I use fast forward the Chanel comot, hence I receive another beating

Wait, i’ve just realized we have been dumped out of the last 2 afcon by them “North Africans. Wait, damn, this is sad. Gk errors on both times.

We missed Etebo,V Moses,Ighalo and Osimehn. We also missed daddy Rohr's kick and follow football. Getting result is Paramount not amateur ghen ghen football. West African teams are talented, they prefer entertaining football over result. They are not result oriented. North African teams are always ready to play defensive game or dirty game to get result
