The simple answer is that polytechnic are doing more of practicals than theory, that's why banks prefer them to those that attend University,but University are doing mainly on theory.

It's actually the opposite. Because HND has little or no room for promotion and will likely take a lesser pay than B.sc

Another factor is that the main skill needed for most Jobs are not taught in our schools both In Universities and polytechnics. So most corporation go for already made employees or employ teachable HND graduant.

That's my little hypothesis. Cos the way banks are hunting HND holders made me say this. But those employed said they are not given room for promotion unlike the B.sc holders.

That's fallacious. There are many bsc holders that are very intelligent, competent and smart. Most times when they get the chance to find themselves in a system that works, they're super flyers. The Nigeria system can destroy anyone but for grace.
It's not just about bsc even msc and phd have become worthless in Nigeria because of the country has totally collapsed. Did you not hear how many phd holders that applied to be driver in dangote company?
