If by "Jesus isn't coming soon" you mean people aren't going to be raptured out of their suffering like your mogs and pastors tell you, you are not wrong, only I doubt you even realize the scripture of this yourself..

The return promised us by Jesus Christ is instead meant to take place at the end of the days when He comes, not to rescue people from sufferings but instead to judge those in the Kingdom of God for the work they have done here on earth in His name.

22“If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
30“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven.

There was the greatest distress in Jerusalem around 70 AD leading to the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD by the Romans. Jesus stated that: 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

This is why God allowed for few days to settle the case between God and mankind. By the time mankind is through with all their system of government where none could bring LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, GOODNESS, GENTLENESS, FAITH, MILDNESS and SELF-CONTROL {Galatians 5:22-23} in their society God will bring his own government which will destroy all of them {Daniel 2:44} and set all obedient mankind free from slavery to cruel human governments! Ecclesiastes 4:1; 8:9

Sorry, the few days will last for thousands of years {2Peter 3:8} so that mankind may be given enough time to try all forms of government they can think of.

So how come true believers now agree that the time for God's government is now? Matthew 6:9-10

The good news of God's Kingdom is that all these things you're experiencing today will never come up again when God's (Kingdom) kick off.
There will be lots of food for everyone {Psalms 72:16} that's why Jesus (God's Son) practicalized it's possiblity for Israelites when he visited this planet! John 6:10-13
There will be no sickness {Isaiah 33:24} Jesus did this to prove that it's possible! Luke 6:17-19
All amputees will be healed {Isaiah 35:5-6} Jesus proved that this is possible! Matthew 12:13
All evildoers will be destroyed {Psalms 37:7-11 compare to Isaiah 11:4-5}
God will swallow up death forever {Isaiah 25:8 compare to Revelations 21:3-5}
All faithful people who has died before then will be called back to life {John 5:28-29 compare to Job 14:13-15} and all faithful ones who have grown old or wornout by that time will never taste death at all {John 11:25-26} rather they will gradually return to their youthful vigor! Job 33:25

All these may sound impossible for you and i who never saw any Jesus but read about him in books, right?

Human civilization according to historians, has passed through ages or stages. Prominent among these are: stone age, agrarian age, industrial revolution age, information age and now Artificial Intelligence age.
Stone age is characterized by man in culture of making use of stone as weapon and equipment.
Agrarian age is marked by men using simple machine as farm implement and weapon. It's man's major preoccupation was agriculture. This was the stage at time of Jesus Christ.
Industrial age is defined industrial revolution, when man started using energy driven complex machines for agriculture and production.
Information age came with man started using extremely fast machines.
Now artificial intelligence age means man started using intelligent or smart machines.
So back to the statement of Mathew 24:34 we need to understand that up till today all the features of all past ages are still present in the world today despite the stage of civilization as at now
We still have stone, agrarian, Industrial ages culture among some people in many regions of the world that are regarded as modern civilization till now.
High level of illetracy, farmine, food scarcity, malnutrition, poverty, pandemic and disaster which were all attendant features of past ages are still with us till today.
So in effect what the Holy Spirit want us to know in the statement is that, the iminience of the end of the world shall be so soon that many parts of the world would still exhibit characteristics of agrarian age which was when Jesus was making that statement in Matthew 24:34 .
May we be found worthy to meet Him when He returns.

The coming of Jesus is tied to the raising of a glorious church. If the church hasn't reach a stage of without spot, blemish or wrinkle, He won't appear.

What's He coming to do when those He's coming for are not serious? We're the ones delaying Him. If not, He would have closed this age since.
